This game is out of this world absorbing. Be warned.

    Good game. Very addictive.
Another similar game you could try is the "Amazing Cultivation Simulator" from Steam.
This game is based on Chinese XianXia background and it has English version. Plenty rave reviews on youtube.

  • I have a German friend who's constantly trying to get me into Rimworld. I mistakenly thought it was a sex club, until now

  • I find it very impressive it has been able to hold its price even after so so long.

Not even cod has been able to do that they caved in years ago and now give huge discounts on all their titles once the new cod is out.

Can't think of much games that have been able to hold their high value after so long.

Only DayZ is the other title I know that have done this and never gone below half price much.

    • I don’t think it has anything to do with sales or quality. The creator is dead against discounting. So it never really has been.

      • Same with factorio, that's never even had a 10% off.

        • Factorio is the other game that has held its value.

          • @AlienC: “Held it’s value” is probably the wrong phrase.
Usually discounting will come from something like low sales, bad quality, bad reviews, or game age.
            This is just stubbornness.

            • @ldt: true fair enough.. sheer patience might be a better phrase or stubbornness both convey the same meaning anyways haha lol

      • From his point of view, it's probably the right thing to do.
I can't be the only one who looks at a new Steam game releasing at $40+ and just thinks "Cool, that looks good, I'll buy it when it's $15" - it's great for us as consumers 👍 But probably not ideal for the developer who can't sell us his game at $40 because we know it will cost way less in the future !

        • Well unless you are an ozrich I try live by the ozbargain lifestyle.

Not perfect but it has allowed me to stay ahead of my ozpoor lifestyle.

            @AlienC: Yep, exactly.
But the developer's plan is working, because I just spent $35.96 on his game, not the $15 I would usually pay 😁

    • Can't think of much games that have been able to hold their high value after so long.

How about nearly every game by Nintendo?

      • Err have you seen how cheap a lot of the switch games have been posted on here on this very site in ozbargain.

Maybe some select few titles might hold their value but majority get discounted to almost bargain bin amounts.

        • I guess physical copies occasionally drop quite significantly during a sale but they do tend to stay around the $65 mark (which I guess is less than RRP but still pricey for games that have been out for years)
I'm talking mainly the first-party titles, definitely not all Nintendo Switch games

          • @FireRunner: To be more specific I'm talking about the games that regularly go down to $5 and below.

  • Discounts do not stack so its really 28% off with the choice discount.

  • Its available for $40.96 on Fanatical at the moment, with the coupon code FANATICAL18
