I got an Easi one too. $10 back on $70 spend

    • That makes up for their obscene delivery charges.

      • Exactly, unsure how they can survive with the ridiculous delivery fee and ridiculous card payment fee on top of it (up to 6-7% surcharge)

        • They charged me $17 for delivery the other day, lucky I had $10 off, but that's just ridiculous for a 15 min drive.

  • Does anyone ever buy anything from Sony? I get this offer a couple of times a year and never use it. I suppose if you want a PS5. Everything else is much cheaper elsewhere.

I think they usually price match?
Also sometimes they offer cashback too

    • Yes, I did a price match last time. I never used this offer until I knew that I can do price match for Sony. You are right, everything else is much cheaper elsewhere.

    • Buy Mirrorless camera lens from Sony with price match and Sony cashback promo
brings the final out of pocket cost really good

      WH-1000XM4

      $399

      7% Cashback
      $60 Amex

Not terrible… If everything works fine, it's $311.07

      *EDIT
      7% excludes GST, so it's 399 - 25.39 - 60 = 313.61

  • Do these offers work through PayPal or do you have to purchase directly using the card? T’s&C’s seem to indicate direct only.

    • +3

      Direct only.

  • I have a Kogan one too… Spend $100 or more, get $20 back

Price match wf1000xm4 next sale. Some guys at the last good guys 15% off deal reported Sony matched - stock is on back order however.

  • Possible to buy Sony gift cards like Microsoft/Xbox?

  • +5

Wicked, have the Sony WH-1000XM4 still in my cart price matched from the Good Guys offer, was holding off on buying but now will definitely get them… :D

    $330.65 - $21.04 Cashback - $60 AMEX Credit = $249.61

    • what?! you can price match an item and keep it in your cart for the matched price and pay it later? Wouldn't it revert to the store price if you didn't pay? Also doesn't cashback tracking expire or doesn't apply for items already in cart?

      so many questions…

      • +2

Yes, when you request a price match on Sony it stays in your cart at that price unless you remove it (I still have a 65X90J saved from about a month ago). Sony asks you to make an account to link it to you and load into your cart. It doesn't revert even if the sale is ended.

All you need to do is click fresh through the cashback provider and pay when you're ready to pay, the item in cart will stay the same price as it's just loading the same cart because you're logged in.

  • Have they sold the ps5 on their store? I had a look but didn't see it.

  • If we weren't in lockdown, I'd buy PS gift cards with it at the physical Sony stores. Is there a way of getting PS5 gift cards from the Sony site?

  • Looking for soundbar for TV sony x9000H, any better deal to use with Amex offer?
