It's a great promotion if you already eat lots of Maccas as you basically get free items to eat.
The chances of winning anything from a full collection of properties is extremely low - I wouldn't even bother trying.
If you don't already eat Maccas then it's completely meh/irrelevant.
All the major prizes have a very improbable chance of winning. Don't even hope to win any of these. If you do beat the odds, count yourself very lucky (and/or maybe re-evaluate how much maccas you should be eating)
It's nice to get a bonus item like small fries, desert or even a burger which you have a fair chance of winningThe chance of getting that one copy of the major prize final piece AND being someone actually collecting is very low. So I guess most major prizes are from the second chance draw. Maybe just put in all your tickets for that.

Pretty much it's an illusion game. You think you're getting close to winning prizes and thus buy more to try and win, but in reality, the "winning" tiles are the the actual one piece in each set of properties that is the super super super rare one (you can usually get a list for this and you'll see on pages people asking for the specific tiles and offering trades etc…).
Basically you just keep a look out for the actual rare tile, and if you get that, you've won.

To tell u I have not seen the other winning navy piece, but thinks it , came from somewhere or if alive.

It's a promo that, when stripped back, is pretty garden variety. With McDonald's massive marketing budget and many companies willing to get on board with "free vouchers" (always tied to much larger spends) it looks a lot bigger than it is in reality.
We only get McDonald's with the kids occasionally, so the probability that I'll see much more than a free burger out of it is pretty slim.
After the KFC Bucket challenge makes you think how tightarse Maccas are with their promotions.
That bucket challenge was dumb. I walked for miles & it kept disappearing!
Think you might have been doing it the hard way lol. I got so much free KFC, for the crappy prizes just delete to get a different spin later on.

I've been playing this stupid game for over 20 years and I haven't won shit or ever met anyone who won any of the major prizes.

Serious question how many people eat Maccas yet follow all this anti aging stuff like NAC (N-acetylcysteine) I'm shocked at how many people will refuse to exercise or eat health yet want to live forever.
it's like anything. Do it in moderation and it's fine. If you eat maccas multiple times a week, you probably need to think if it's a good idea.
As a kid I used to get excited over it. Now, knowing what I know, it seems like the whole thing is in great part a tax dodge.
They have a few legitimate major prizes, to draw people in, like a house or a car or cash. But the bulk of it is made up of either food (which costs them pennies) or $10 vouchers. And you'll notice the vouchers are all to places you don't want to shop at. I imagine 95% of them just get discarded.
That said, there are a few good ones, like the Amazon ones. These quite often end up in the classifieds section for free or a few dollars, so not entirely bad.
If I ate Mcdonalds (I don't, but just imagining I did) what I would do its chop off the cardboard containing the codes, and sell them. On ebay, they fetch about a dollar a tag. Essentially that takes $4 off the price of a large meal.
best feeling is buying a $1 slushie and getting a large cup with 2 stickers on it

Only go 1/4 pounders for $2/$3 and they can keep the rest including their promotional games.
You can buy real burgers and quality chips for the price they charge.The best thing to do is list your 'rare' properties (you don't actually have) for trade on FB Marketplace and watch as all the fools come out of the woodwork.
And once mcdonalds scrabble starts you see idiots on gumtree start putting up ads for "wanted: bla bla street for $5000" when the prize is a $25k car or "willing to swap the not so rare one for the rare one"
I’m sick of the Maccas Monopoly to be honest. Crappy prizes that are actually winable, no chance of getting a proper prize and the special deals seem to disappear while it’s on. I’ll pass go.

However, I was hoping that we could at least play games, which was available in earlier chapters of Monopoly, but doesnt look like. So, purchase is the only way to get chance cards and instant gifts.

is anyone finding that the codes are insanely difficult to scan? Tried on a Samsung S20 and after many frustrating minutes under perfect lighting and focus, we found that you have to scan to the left of the ticket for it to register?? Lining up the ticket dead centre will not scan for us for some reason.
Oh wow that is hilarious! Its been so fustrating not being able to scan anything and always resort to entering it manually. I just tried scanning to the left as you said and it worked like a charm, wish I had found this earlier :( Also using a samsung btw.
