Dear All,

Horrible prices, TRN V20 is 16AUD on Ali but you charge 53AUD… where's the difference coming from?
You may have to wait for 1-2 months and no return and refund policy available. Shipping cost will increase to $80 AUD if you need it quicker, but we do free delivery for you.
Right - but
a) where are the products shipped from
b) what are they shipped with
c) why isn't this outlined on your site?
The price scaling is also really weird - if you were local 77AUD for the TA1s is actually ok as long as it's shipped pretty fast.
Please check website shipping policy.
@KSA: Uhh how about you answer the question here?
Vague. OP is evasive.
Also, support is via a Hotmail email address.
Please check the contact page here if you need supports, I couldn't see Hotmail you mentioned https://bytecatmall.com.au/pages/contact-us
Nice update - Google cache still shows the Hotmail address
@ihfree: Oh, now THAT Is the nail in the coffin.
"Thanks we missed an old address, we have fixed that"
Vs
outright coverup
Ozbargain isnt a store front, its a community. Seller errors are common, and honesty is rewarded.
To try and call someone a liar, by editing their observation is low.
@MasterScythe: Hi, Firstly I don't think using Hotmail or Outlook or even other kinds of email addresses was an issue, they all have email functions.
Secondly, this post was later than the domain email addresses update on the web contact page.
Nowadays, more and more web using domain email to show profession, we also follow the trend, but it doesn't mean service or anything else.
Update: Please check the Google cache linked, it shows "This is Google's cache of https://bytecatmall.com.au/pages/contact-us. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 8 Aug 2021 06:26:32 GMT. The current page could have changed in the meantime. "
Hi, Firstly I don't think using Hotmail or Outlook or even other kinds of email addresses was an issue
Then whoever is in charge of your digital platform needs more training.
Basically, hotmail and gmail, and the like already have their own approved DMARC records, meaning literally anyone can recieve email on them.
It's a matter of online trust; once you can prove your own domain is DMARC compliant, you at least then can assure people your communications are directly from the domain in question.
This issue is extremely widespread in the car-carrying industry, where adding a hyphen or an extra letter in the domain might go unnoticed.
As an example, if I went and registered 'bytecatmal' with 1x L, then I could use your hotmail 'From' address, and register a new hotmail based 'Reply-To:' address. Simple.
However, once you've made your own domain DMARC compliant, if I tried that, it'd get marked as spam, or ourtight rejected.
Hopefully that's explained to you why hotmail or other addresses are an issue when running an online business.
@MasterScythe: I appreciate your this comment here, which add value to the community, I will show them.
@ihfree: Hi, I really don't understand what's the issue regarding the email address, Google didn't update the information is very normal, the domain email was updated before this post in this link https://bytecatmall.com.au/pages/contact-us. If you can find the old email can you please also tell everyone the update time?
This domain is new to the market, we are trying to provide the same good products and services to customers as we do on other platforms.
Even if some sellers using Hotmail or Outlook as supporting email, what's the issue there, those email addresses can still receive the email?
Update: Thank you for your Google cache linked, it shows "This is Google's cache of https://bytecatmall.com.au/pages/contact-us. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 8 Aug 2021 06:26:32 GMT. The current page could have changed in the meantime. "
@KSA: Your site was showing the Hotmail address earlier when I followed the link from Ozbargain.
The fact that you're arguing about this is another reason I think dealing with your business is a bad idea.
If there were orders issues, would you deal with them or would you send links to policies along with walls of text?
@ihfree: Hi, did you mean the contact page or somewhere else? I was talking about the contact page in my first answer as this page should be the page for support, and you also link Google cache of the contact page. If you mean another page, please let me know, I will forward it to them to update, and thank you for your careful catching.
Update: For the order issue, please don't guess, if you do need something, can place an order with us, if you really don't like it, our customer service can do a return and refund for you as per our refund policy.
Cheaper elsewhere. Please advertise somewhere else. Orb is for deals not ads.
Please let me know the cheaper price with the same service and delivery time. We offer 10% off plus delivery at the moment, thank you.
I like they're local; but those markups are significantly more than +shipping and +profit.
Should be an extra tenner for shipping, and even at 100% profit, it still works out more costly.
If you were a merchant, you would know the profit should not be calculated in this way. But I am happy to know where is the cheaper price with the same service.
I have been a merchant several years, including being involved in importing containers of product from china for resale.
Using someones retail cost, as a wholesale calculation is usually well on the safe side of import duty allowances, especially if you're brining in your own containers.
Regardless; if you feel your service is worth the extra, thats fine.
Most people here consider the service as simply providing the product, and shipping it; whatever else you provide is open to the individual if they value it.
Remember this is ozbargain; most arent looking for 'service' they're looking for stupidly low prices regardless of effort or waits.
Such an odd choice of products though. i never thought id be offered gaming products from someone selling shower-creams also, haha.
Still thank you for your own opinion
Which is ridiculous considering some claim to drive multiple cars worth over 100K+ each…..
@Willco88: OzBargain folk you mean?
Well sure, saving money on everything else lets you spend where you desire it most.
Im a car enthusiast also, once you accumulate a few hundred K spare, what else are you spending it on if not property or cars?
Travel has been removed from the list of options for a few years it seems; so its gotta go somewhere!
@MasterScythe: How about saving it or investing it. Cars depreciate more than anything else
@Willco88: Not necessarily. My various "fast and furious" cars have all gone up by 30-100k in the last 10 years, depending which ones. Not that id ever sell them.
Regardless, its such an individual choice mate. Once you've saved enough to be self sufficient, sure you can watch the number grow forever or you can enjoy it.
Too many properties become a chore to maintain. And investments like stocks count toward taxable asset calculations.
Even if someone bought a new car, so long as you register it to an abn, you can claim the depreciation as a tax offset.
Everyones circumstances will be different. The joy of watching a number grow and not using it is boring to some; but some find it thrilling.
Everyone has their own way of enjoying their savings from bargain life.
@MasterScythe: I guess so.
No specific bargain listed. This is advertising.
