  I bought one of these for double this price last time from Amazon and be warned they don't even seem to charge through the most thinnest of cases. Even without a case they don't work as well as other ones just because they seem to require some exact positioning and pressure where as the half a dozen or so other branded ones i have don't act up like this. On the plus side it's a solid built unit. I've tried galaxy notes and lgs and a few other types of phones and it always seems to come down to that fact. It's good to use as a solid stand but to charge anything that's a different matter entirely unfortunately.

    Thanks for the comment - and I agree with your observation. Even with some brands that work well, the quality within batches is not even consistent.

    For what it's worth, whenever you find that happening I would recommend returning it on Amazon for a refund even though it still 'works'.

      No worries. I would do that usually. But since the stand was solid I got a partial refund and left it at that. It's now being used as a stand only.

          @scaryhours: Anything by Anker or Ravpower is generally good but wireless is slow. Having said that my last iPhone was a iPhone 4 lol
