lol yep not a great sign when Turd things you are disgusting

    • maggie mee is authentic asian instant noodle. it is a household name in malaysia at least. every single indian / malay coffee shop in malaysia serves maggie mee goreng. but i agree with you, this one is disgusting.

      • Owners are Nestle. Not really Authentic imo. Just them trying to grab their hands in asian instant noodle market.

      • These are super famous ! 1 in 6 in the world loves them 😅 just saying

  • Can never seem to find this in my local Coles
Would be in the section where they stack the standard Maggi noodles or would it be in the Asian/ Indian section?

    • I have two Coles in my area and one of them stocks it and the other doesn't. It is usually in the Indian section.

      • 5km limits my options unfortunately

Indian section….these are made in India. Taste unique and like no other. Like curry powder in Maggi.

On a side note…I found it weirdly funny when they pronounced Maggi as " majji" in the MasterChef 2021. I am used to saying Maggi like Maggie. It's a propernoun anyway…each to their own.

      • So strange. Back in the early 90s VHS days, Indian movies used to have ads in them. Maggi noodles used to be quite popular to the point where all the kids knew their jingle of by heart. The jingle clearly pronounced it as Maggie.

      • Majji (phonetically) is actually the correct pronunciation. Watch their TV adds.

        • I've seen TV adds of Maggi in India and Indonesia and it was pronounced Maggie. I guess one can argue for each way…. again it's a propernoun

  • Honestly no other noodles come close ! There are recipies based on these noodles and the accompanying masala being key ingredients !

These aren’t anything like the usual asian noodles or the Maggie chicken noodles that are usually available here .

Yummy and always special to the people from subcontinent ! Try it if you haven’t 😀
