I don't know about this specific one but the Beyer DT series is sometimes significantly cheaper on Amazon UK, might be worth looking into that for this product as well. It's temperamental though and isn't always in stock, I tried looking before commenting for this one and no such luck but it might be one of those times where it's not on sale.

Just an FYI comment for people who really want to buy this to look further into if they want to.

It's not, but people looking at this would be better off looking at the AKG K371 or the Beyer DT770 250 Ohm on Amazon for sub $200, ideally towards $150. The latter requires an amp, and its trebles spikes are not for everyone.

At this price, Audeze Penrose just completely destroys this. As I understand it, this is a retuned DT770.

At that price you can get a dt 770 (or 990) and a mod mic/desktop mic/studio mic set up, much better value

  • Is this similar to the TYGR?

    • This a re-tuned DT770, the TYGR is apparently a re-tuned DT990.

  • I have these and the DT770 pro 80ohm. I picked the 300’s up with custom ear pads which are meant to make them sound better. The 770’s sound better to me and are a lot more comfortable.

I only use the 300’s due to the mic. If I played on PC I’d go the 770’s with the separate mic if I had the choice between the two.

Reminds me Pentium MMX 300 (fastest MMX), getting old ~XD

    • Mate, what about the Celeron 300A with a BH6 motherboard? :D
