Meguiar's Car Wash Snow Cannon Kit $58.80 + Delivery (Free C&C) @ Repco

230

One of the cheapest prices for this of recently. Was around this price a couple of years ago for Father's day sale.

The entire Meguiar range is on sale, though not everything is worth it.

The Gold Class Shampoo 1.89L is $23

  • Anyone use this with a Bosch Aquatak pressure washer ?

Is it much different from the included foam lance and container ?

I've used the Bosch one with Gold Class shampoo and it is very runny. Doesn't stay on car for long

    Suggestions please

    • Don't know if the same but the Bosch Aquatak I have came with the most garbage foam attachment I have ever seen. Managed to use 10x the soap and produce half the foam of any other.

      • I bought a karcher foam kit and it’s the same
Foam lasts 30 secs max and you go through the soap sooooo quickly

        Hoping this works better

I've got an Aquatak and this snow cannon. Works very well, foam is thick, the kit also includes adapter for Bosch.

If you want thick foam like shaving cream - get yourself the MJJC from Aliexpress.

    • This is literally the same thing

      • Not all cannons are created equal. The MJJC consistently gets the best reviews out of all the cannons available.

    • they arent as cheap as they use to be
From my quick look they are all this price or more?

      • Depends which version you want to get - the blue standard one is about $40 and will give you much thicker foam than the Meguiar's.

It also comes with 1.1mm Orifice - which is handy if you have a weaker pressure cleaner.

  • is there a way to adapt this so it works with garden hose lol. no power outlet in my garden sadly.

    • You can get ones which go onto garden hose. I think i got mine from Repco. I rinse car first with water, foam with the gun, leave that on for a few minutes, hose off, then bucket wash.

What you’re looking for is a snow gun (as opposed to a cannon), which attaches to a hose.

Otherwise, a foamer is a handheld one that you pump manually.

      HTH

Edit: and then I read the other poster’s reply properly!

    • Use an old weed n feed hose on bottle. Just clean it out and puts suds in instead.

  • Anyone know whether this is compatible with the recent Ryobi pressure washer deal from Bunnings?

  • I bought the Amazon one for my Karcher and it works just as well for a fraction of the price.

  • i just ordered the Waxit option for $82, i was able to select the exact attachment for my pressure washer and it came with two NV wash options. That combined with reward points and their great service means im not upset about pulling the trigger before this deal.

just have to spend another $70 to get shipping so not great unless you have to get a few things.

  • How's it compare to the Bowen's kit?

    • I've got both and like the Bowden's cannon better. Better foam, stubby bottle is a better design than a tall one and being able to get an extra bottle without having to get a complete cannon is also a plus if you also apply sealants with a pressure washer.

The Gold Class shampoo is a bit meh IMO too. Better products out there for the price but as a freebie it's ok (I don't use shampoo in the cannon though).

  • Anyone know which attachment works with the Ozito 1800W 2030PSI High Pressure Washer from Bunnings? I bought the SNOWAL, but it started leaking at the end of my cleaning session, and leaks out the sides ever since.
