Hello, long time lurker and first time poster. Found this in response to the Alienware AW510H Lunar Light Gaming Headset deal posted. Seems like a decent price as it comes with a sound card unlike the Razer Blackshark V2 X. Free Delivery for Metro Areas.
Razer BlackShark V2 - Wired Gaming Headset + USB Sound Card $99 + Delivery ($0 to Most Areas/ VIC C&C/ in-Store) @ Centre Com

It allows you to plug directly to your ps5 console
pointblank doesn't have a ps5 console.
Well that was point blank of you
@sh4hp: jv knows all
Allows for more customization of input and output audio in the razer synapse software if that matters to you. Just a way for Razer to fill your drives with bloatware and such imo.
Allows you to enable THX spatial audio. Makes a difference in certain games where you rely heavily on sound like tactical shooters. Tweaking the microphone settings is also nice.
Best value headset around?
Been also considering getting a separate microphone like a Razer Seiren or thishttps://www.amazon.com.au/Neewer-Microphone-Suspension-Broad…
thoughts?
I was considering just getting the kmart version:

Get's a pretty good review considering the price.I think I'll give the separate mic idea a pass actually - unless you do recording (which I don't really do) - you're kind of just making how you sound for other people better - which doesn't really improve your life unless you're doing production. Which in that case the Razer seems to be the better idea.
yeah it's a tricky one. I'm in the same boat in that respect.
I've had 2 headsets break on me and I suspect that they're designed to break after 1-2 years, whereas I can keep headphones for years which is why I'm looking for a stand-alone solution. The issue with the boom arm is that it does take up a lot of space!@pointblank: so ; bought the Kmart one for fun and it sounds good although a little excessive for most of my use cases haha.
Using a program like voicemeeter has made my current crappy mic on my Corsair HS45 sound incredibly amazing, clear and crisp almost as if I had a seperate mic. Makes me more confident buying any headphones in my budget as replacement. Although just yesterday I bought the Blackshark V2 X for $65 delivered from Wireless 1 which has I think one of if not the best mic on a budget headphone that exists.
If you'd like help with voicemeeter pm me and I can send you the youtube video I used to get it fixed up
Does the sound card make much of a difference (if anyone knows)?
