I've been using this for 1 year and love it. The 3 speeds make it handy for using it for multiple jobs. Must be fathers day sale..

    It's a hex bit driver, designed more for screws than bolts.

    Impact wrench is what you're after I think. I have a Ryobi one in my car break down kit for flat tyres.

      Yes you'd be after a impact wrench but I do have an impact drill to wrench adaptor that does help but definitely not as powerful

      The last time I checked, the ryobi one+ (non-brushless) impact wrench is the skin you'd want for torque on a budget, at least from the spec sheets.

  Why would you get this when people are selling brand new dewalt skins out of kits for around the same price??

    Not everyone uses the dewalt ecosystem. On top of that, after a quick search they only have one torque speed which is lower than the lowest price one i found on bunnings.

    dewalts range is absolutely shiet unless you are a professional contractor. Am a dewalt user on the 2nd or 3rd highest tier (DCD998) can confirm

  Have tried this one… Not for "daily" or medium usage as the drill burns out… Been through 3 replacement lol

  I think the issue is you still need the battery and charger. Seems they have a similar drill in a kit for 220. If you havenothing, then might be better deal.

    Yeah this drill is good with very limited usage… Like 2ah and then it needs to rest… Anything above 5ah and this thing suffers

    This isn't a drill for drilling holes. It's for driving screws and nuts. While a drill can be used to do this, a driver is much better at it. Not to be difficult but if you didn't know the difference, you'd be best off googling it to understand. The simplest answer is if you drive a lot of screws and nuts, you'll love this and it complements your drill well.

      Yes! Built a deck last year.. drill for the hole and countersink, this for the screws. 1 x 5A battery lasted 2 days. Was perfect!
