GHOSTMAROWAK

Happy Friday the 13th OzBargainers,

We are getting a little Sp0oKy today!

The only thing spookier than the background music in Lavender town is the drop of cards we have for you this morning. For Friday the 13th we have spooky spirits, menacing monsters, beastly badguys, and other cards that go bump in the night! But don't fear, you can protect yourself against these Gastlys, Gengars and Team Rocket Minions, with the psychic energy of Sabrina, Mewtwo, and Dark Alakazam!

This week we're offering 20% OFF across our entire store with the discount code GHOSTMAROWAK. Offer expires 11:59pm 19-Aug. Follow this LINK and use the discount code GHOSTMAROWAK at the checkout.

We stock original First Edition Wizards of the Coast era Pokemon cards from back when it all began in 1999. Cards from the Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, Promos and more!

For the next few weeks we will be dropping new cards onto the store every Friday morning

We accept cryptocurrency! You can purchase our vintage trading cards with Bitcoin or Ethereum.

All of our cards are pre-loved, and as such they come in a variety of conditions from Mint to Heavily Played. The condition of each card is estimated in the product title, but please review the card photos closely and make your own assessment before purchasing.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch here or hit us up on social media if you have any questions.

Happy bargain hunting!

  • Cam from Bandicoot Collectibles

P.S. This muscly master of seduction is still available. Get him while he's HOT!
P.P.S. If you prefer to haggle, we have a small selection of 'Buy it Now or Best Offer' cards on ebay.

      Hi @Tunblor and @iamprabhath,

Our plan at Bandicoot Collectibles is to release a new batch of cards on our site each week, and and offer OzBargainers a discount code through these posts. Each week there are new products, and each week there is a new discount. The idea is to keep our stock fresh while giving OzBargainers a heads up (and a discount) ahead of everyone else (except our newsletter subscribers).

If this approach isn't welcome here by the OzBargain community and/or admins we will stop posting deals.

      Thanks,
      * Cam from Bandicoot Collectibles

Probably nothing against the specific deal or pricing, more "20% off every week" may just get a bit tiresome. And people may start to get used to 20% off being the normal price, not a sale price.

Edit, wasn't me that negged you.

      • I didn't neg your response, just the deal as posted. Thanks for the response.

What you've expressed above is great marketing, and you're to be commended for it, but this isn't Ozmarketing or OzAdvertising.

I may be off-base, (other ozbargainers or mods let me know) but this is Ozbargain, which is a buyer-led website for what users think are bargains, prices well below the norm. If you are going to just have permanent rolling sales of 20% off, then that's just the regular price, not a bargain.

This is a grey area, lines are blurry, but my vote is where it is, others are free to disagree.

but this is Ozbargain, which is a buyer-led website

Half the deals are associated/seller/spam at this point and the click to engagement ratio is super low. Too many non deals to sort through.

          • @Jenny Death: Agreed, just trying to do my bit!

@Tunblor: Thanks Tunblor and Jenny Death,

I understand your points here, and I honestly do appreciate the feedback. Bandicoot Collectibles is a very new business, and we are open to any feedback we can get in order to improve. Personally, I have got a lot of value from the OzBargain community over the years, so the last thing I want is for my business to be viewed as spam here.

We have another batch of cards scheduled to drop next Friday. I will review our numbers and see what we can offer to make next week's deal more appealing.
