  xm3 have apt-x which would give you better compatibility. both have ldac for quality.

Pulled the trigger on xm4 with 5% ebayplus code. @$250 , reviews says barring box, they are pretty much new. Thanks op.

  Check for any beeping in the ear cups when Bluetooth is enabled, I had that problem with mine. Another common problem seems to be sweatiness/moisture in the earcups causing ANC to sound like wind blowing on a mic (in the headphones). I had both these issues and had to return mine, just check for them early by doing a long listening sesh, there's plenty of people that don't have the issue.
