the max discount with klarna is $100

      apologies, probably no deal then

It's $100 off in both cases, so the prices should be $539 and $739 (plus delivery), respectively. So in real terms, you're engaging a credit check for at most a $10 discount compared to other sales prices that are dropping at the moment.

Going to neg because I think that completely erases the value here, and prices will only start to drop further in the next couple of months leading into new CPU launches.

Sorry overlooked this, and I'd neg it too now, only I'm the OP so can't haha.

I mean you can have the deal removed if you like, your call, but others might be actively using Klarna for other stuff as well. If they're running through multiple orders on Kogan (which this is supposedly eligible for), then it's essentially a non-issue given it's all one credit check.

      • Kudos for posting op 👍

  • Think you forgot to reduce the prices by 25% (cap at $100 disc)

    • Indeed, corked by the fine print.

      • Better luck next time, fellow OzBargainer :)

  • I just ordered by mistake.
Thought pay with Klara option would come up or even a request for my pin but it just went straight through.
I've cancelled immediately. Not a huge deal if I can't cancel but hoping there's no issues.

Am I the only one who thinks signing up to Klarna for $100 isn't a great deal?

    • It's supposedly able to be redeemed multiple times, so if my understanding is correct, you're able to pick up as much $2000 worth of goods for as little as $1500 outlay.

That doesn't quite apply here given the marked prices, but if that's upheld there is value to be had on Kogan's marketplace, and it's one credit check for all of them.

But if you're just trying to snag the odd thing when it's marked at or above MSRP, you're often saving little to nothing while going through a credit check.
