Seems like a good board for an entry level AMD build, usually priced around $70-$80 despite their $109 RRP claim

Personally would be VERY wary of buying gigabyte after their recent quality control issues for gfx cards, mobos and PSUs.
I JUST had a 9900KF start acting strangely in an almost top of the line giga mobo (aorus master). I pulled it out and it is actually cooked. There's burn damage on the socket. Never been OC'd, never been resocketed. Stable for over a year. Never seen anything like it. Ironically the most expensive mobo and CPU I've ever bought. Put in a warranty request to gigabyte. They reply after 3 days. Can I log into their website to read the reply? No. They've been hacked.
Not kidding. This is all true. Something is really wrong at gigabyte. I hope they can get back on track but it'll be a few years until I buy anymore gigabyte products. Their current issues with PSUs alone is pretty criminal imo.
This.
I'm steering clear of Gigabyte now. They can't be trusted after flogging off PSUs with a 50% failure rate.
I have a high end Gigabyte motherboard and they are very slow to release BIOS updates and their BIOS has less features than the competition and they have even stripped out features over time. The competition even released beta BIOS updates (betas are not always a good thing but I digress) for newer CPUs but Gigabyte either took their time, released a beta BIOS as their final triumph or didn't bother at all.
Can also add that my recently purchased X570i Aorus Pro motherboard is screwed up, both m.2 sockets are faulty. Haven't contacted support but the website wasn't working when I tried to.
My old ASRock board, which was literally the cheapest B550 ITX board available had far less issues than this one. Might just buy it again (had to replace with the Gigabyte because a choke broke off from my own fault manhandling it)
Have this for my sons budget pc, works great with a 3600: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/44698084
cant overclock but runs 3600mhz memory fine.
waiting for GPUs to get more reasonable to finish the build.
