Do note the CO version has a slightly louder bearing - the P12 PWM PST / P12 PWM is the one that is on par with noctua a12x25 (PST version has daisy chainable cable).

Can the AFTERPAY10 code be used more than once?

    • not on the same ebay account but I've used the code three times with the same afterpay acc

Have four of the standard P12 PWM PST fans they are great but the motor noise when rpm ramps up and down is crazy. You might not get this issue but a lot of people do and it's pretty bad. Just be aware that this could happen to you too.

    • iirc its a certain fan speed which is bad, and moving between them generates the noise. I made my fan profiles either very low at around 800 or so and jump up significantly higher if very hot. That way, the fan is generally always whisper quiet unless I'm doing something that generates a lot of heat.

      • I found that with my units, it's around the same speed that most people are reporting (900-1000rpm ish). These are really good fans if you don't have this issue, and at this price I recommend buying but I just wanted people to be aware that they could run into that.

    • i have the PST 5pack, the my units are pretty good.

but when they are above 1200rpm, they do make noises, motor noises.

I thought getting this can get away from Noctua, and now i am still buying the Noctua after all…..

this is my subjective view of noise. I am the kinda person who considers HDD are very noisy…..so to an average joe, this is actually are no brainer for sure.

      • I also went all SSD to escape HDD noise. I also went extreme with Artic LFII 360 on a 5600X so I thought getting matching case fans would be good but yeah these fans round 900-1100rpm make a weird noise - I might change them out at some point but not sure yet.

        • You should get an air cooler if you want a quieter system.

          • @ATangk: I could probably remove the fans and go passive with the radiator

      • Sounds like you are not from the dial-up internet age 😂.

No noise issues here with the PWM PST ones…but I run them at low rpm pretty much constantly.

  • anyone tried this? afterpay is grayed out for me somehow

    • It shows up for me, code applies too.
