Speaking of which, I currently have an open spot on my family, if anyone wants to join.
Started about a month ago, and got 4 people plus myself for 12 months, $40 even. Not sure if allowed to post, but if someone wants to get in on my plan, message me. Works out like $4 a month or something from memory.
I should note, I'll be reassessing it in late June 2022. I'll probably go another year around afterwards, but cross that bridge then.My reddit user name is the same as this, get in touch there if keen
This is better
Spotify>YouTube Premium
That being said, I bought 2 cassette tapes from a skate shop today so I mean, I might not be an expert on the best ways to experience music.
I switched to Youtube a couple of weeks ago and have not found any major difference, but then again I believe music reached perfection in the late 80s and its all been downhill since then, so I am no expert either.
you clearly haven't listened to taylor swift. Best music since mozart
@gimli: You clearly haven't listened to The Bangles or Bananarama. Even better than either Mozart or Swift.
The only things that separates the two for me is using my phone to control my music on the PS5 app (which has flaws) and group listening sessions which have also had hiccups here and there. If you use none of those, the services are close enough to each other
*also an ad free family YouTube account for under $3 is a stealHow do you get youtube for $3 ?
LOL
making you go in-store to get covidYou can get it in Bulk
Targeted offer - membership required.
Yt music is cheaper, if you live in India.
And also buggy af
Where is it buggy
India etc.
@Sleuth: How so?
Pretty sure, if you google deezer or tidal in after clearing cookies and log into a fb, will be offered 2-3months free.
Literally endless free streaming, after repeating.I prefer YT, but my kids wanted Spotify only.
I believe these gift cards are only redeemable for single users, and cannot be used against a family plan.https://www.spotify.com/in-en/premium/
9 months of Spotify India Premium costs $13.19.
Family plan is $ 3.64 per month.
https://www.apple.com/in/apple-music/
Apple Music Indian subscription is $ 1.81 per month.
Catch is with Spotify you need a local number to verify and a local issued card.
May work if someone successfully verify using a virtual mobile number to receive messages.
Quick question, if I was to change family plan from Aus to India, would I need to create all new accounts?
Sorry I'm not sure about that I'm still on an Individual plan .
Can you use india apple music in AU, does it need VPN?
Oh did not know this one!! Thanks :) This will get me going for another 9 months of Skipping.
Hey, how do you sign up for spotify india? it asks me to input my card details and a postal code, which i tried my local one or the new delhi one, but both fail.
This deal will save me about ~$25. Not bad!
Like someone said above, it is cheaper to join a family plan as long as everyone agrees to set the same address within their Spotify profile.
Question: If I were to take up this deal, do I simply just cancel my current monthly subscription? I don't believe Spotify will issue any pro rata refunds. So, I will have to wait until my account is downgraded to the ad-infested free version. At this point, I can just apply the voucher code, right?
Probably cheaper if you join a family plan subscription from someone else on the site, quite a few of these types of offers in the Classifieds.
