Good deals for Bowden's Own products
I was in the market for a snow cannon, purchased it last week from Supercheap but this deal is better.
$113 value for $79
other great deals to mention

Bowden's Own Nanolicious Shag Pack - BONANOSP for $49, retail for $82

Australian owned brand
definitely recommend their products despite the cost, solid built, and good end finish.

  • Bowden's Own or Meguiar's?

    • +2

I prefer Bowden's Own. I change from Meguiar's Gold Class to Bowden's Own Nanolicious and the foam is a lot better. And I love the smell of Bowden's Own too.

      • Are the snow foams good enough for a basic wash or are they strictly prewash only.

        • +1

personally depends on how dirty your car is, i used it for a wash and rinse and my car was relatively clean.

bowden's snow foam is strictly prewash. there is no lubrication which is needed to reduce the likelihood of swirl marks

        • +1

I used it for pre-wash only.

So my process is to use Bowden's Own Snow Job for pre-wash, and Nanolicious for hand wash.

        • @umadbrahhhh: No, current I just use Boss Gloss for the dry step. I will get Happy Ending.

You can get a wash from Autoglym
They have Polar Blast and Polar Wash.

For the most part I use Autoglym products. I pre-wash (sometimes twice!) with Polar Blast. Then depending on how dirty the car is, I'll wash with Polar Wash and hand wipe it off, or use the two bucket method with their Bodywork Shampoo (or heck, sometimes Polar Wash as well).

          Finished off with Polar Seal.

And every 6 months or so, I'll do a Magma decontamination as well, and a clay-bar.

    • Bowden's

  • Getting ripped off higher price and less foam solution and still recommending bowdens.

  • What's a good value pressure washer to go with this?

I see repco sells this one:

    https://www.repco.com.au/en/tools-equipment/garage-tools-equ…

    • Bowden's recently bought a still and said it was the best pressure washer they've ever had

  • Checked out the 'bowden's own detalers' and 'banned from bowden's own' on facebook.
    An interesting little feud

  • How well do these work without a power washer?

    • You mean just using a hose? They won't work at all. You need the pressure to create the foaming action.

  • Personally I use Duragloss cleaning and detailing products on my cars - you get it at specialty detail shops, it's marginally more expensive than stuff at the Repcheapbarn and much, much better. You can get much more expensive products but Duragloss is fantastic bang for buck

  • The ebay $20 foam cannons work just fine. This is coming from someone who has an MTM PF22. I Keep the ebay one as a backup.

    • Any recommended link? TIA

      • I think the cheap ebay ones around $20 are all the same.

  • I'm after a decent pressure washer with at least 8m of hose around around $250 any you guys recommend

  • can my ozito pressure washer connect to it? https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-1800w-2030psi-high-pressur…
