I wonder with this; how does it work with lapsed/former customers of 3 or more years, I imagine they’re not treated as new? Is a new email address sufficient to be viewed as new?

    • +1

New email, they don’t capture any other info

      • Thanks!

      • New email just for subscribing to Nord? How about Shopback, when a previous cashback deal had already been claimed?

  • +2

Not sure what is wrong - error comes up when I click Shop now

    • It was working moments earlier, maybe too many simultaneous click-throughs from this deal?

  • Has anyone actually received the cash back for this particular offer on their shopback account? I find the tracking process quite iffy sometimes.

    • i bought mine last time and got it - however mine was through Cashrewards

    • Yes I did, it can take a while.

One thing about NordVPN I cant work out how to exclude my local Webserver from the VPN, file shares are okay but not webserver!
I cant browse to my local Webserver once VPN is connected.

This is driving me nuts, support didnt help much.

I am not sure if other VPN solutions have this issue.

It would appear as though they’re having connection errors from their portal to other sites at the moment, not just NordVPN, considering their promotions start from 10am AEST in some cases, they’ll likely to attempt to resolve prior. This offer seems to be all-day though

  • How much does it cost eventually?

    • ~$15 AUD, based on my return i got through the Cash rewards deal on their 2 year plan

    app and webs not working…

    • Yep, all their services stopped working

      • Working again now

  • How does this compare with PIA? Mines just expired.

  • Wondering how to use this VPN on my LG OLED B9 TV? Any ideas.. I can't download Nord VPN app from LG Content store…

  • Been using surf shark just for 'getting things' and sometimes regional Netflix. Assume this is just as good to use?

    • -1

Netflix is blocked on this. Also many are running into some web pages not loading at all (eg some email services) with PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. This is a fault with many of their servers, however there are still some that don't have this issue yet.

I have no problems watching Netflix US using NordVPN Android TV app. Moving countries is extremely easy…

  • So it's $89 US is it? So with 95% cashback it should only end up costing US$4.50ish does anyone have the actual amount they track versus what's charged on your card?

    • around $15 as GST is not included in CB

  • Is there a surefire way to get the cashback in this situation? Like, idk, expolicitly put some ShopBack reference number while purchasing? Or perhaps Nord VPN is going to confirm I'm buying via ShopBack at the checkout?

I've been burned too many at ShopBack and I'd rather not do the "treat that cashback as a potential bonus" approach here.

    • There's a period of satisfaction or money back, so could see if tracking is reported before that is up.

      • That would be great as long as that period goes beyond ShopBack's three-month approval.

        • +2

Make sure you buy it from within the app, I've never had anything fail to track from within the app and it logs any sites you visit from within the app also. & As a backup take a screenshot and make a note of time and date. If you have any issue contact the shopback representative in here they are very good.

  • $14 for 27 months.

    Nice.

  • 95% of USD 89 is $4.45 - Isn't it & USD 4.45 is app AUD 6… How is it $14 pls?

    • +1

      GST

  • What happens at the end of the 27 months if you forget to disconnect the service? Do you automatically get billed at full price for the next 12 months?

    • +2

      You can disable auto-renewal

  • Can this be used to get the $25 referral bonus?

    • Want to know this too

      • I would probably assume not, "(excludes other new customer bonus offers)"

  • Does cash back include dedicated IP options?

  • Interested. Till now only using free winscribe vpn to watch youtube when they geo blocked some sports.

Hmm what other things people is using, in daily or weekly basis?

  • So, I just signed up for the 2 years without realising that I had apparently signed up with my email address already way back in 2016. I had no recollection of this because I never actually used NordVPN (it must have been free or something). I assume this means that I won't be eligible for cash-back and now I will have to cancel within 30 days to get a refund. Why would you limit the deal to "New Customers" only when it takes 5 seconds to create a new free email, it's just a huge inconvenience to people who unwittingly fall afoul of this arbitrary requirement. Makes me want to never use these companies again.

    • Made me worry if i had or not in the past…

When you signed up they should told you the email already exists something like that?

      • Update: I ended up getting the cashback anyway, even though my email was used to create an account back in 2016!

  • Ordered on wednesday, still not showing in my purchases on CashBack? Anyone else not showing yet?

    • Same here, ordered Wednesday night and still nothing showing

    • Same for me. Still not showing.

      • Mine is now showing (I purchased via the app on my phone), it came in yesterday arvo

        • Still nothing for me. I might have to get a refund on it. I signed up for the new PIA deal anyway…
