Mod: adidas appear to have cancelled all orders due to stock issues. Moved to forums.
'Estimated delivery Tue 10 Aug' was shown on my order, so I doubt we will know anything before (end of) next week.
Given the huge amount of orders, even if some of the $0 orders get shipped, it will be after the $30 orders. (If it's processed in the order they came in).
I'm same as yesterday about 60% still alive.

if there is a dollar rain i don't belive there would be a single person just take a $50 dollar note saying that it's enough for me, inculding those moral polices.
i have not receive cancellation on my orders, and ebay purchase status still showing "Paid"… so, i think seller still processing all the order cancellation

i think adidas did this on purpose, they just want to clear out their stocks.
they ar getting the $40 from ebay, and thats the same as the discounted price on their website yesterday,
actually they didn't stuff up, they getting exactly what they wanted, except the oversale part.

Order just cancelled due to 'Something was wrong with the buyer's delivery address.' Also says 'They sent a refund to your original payment method.' Just checked my paypal account and have received a refund of $40. Happened to anyone else?

Got mine cancelled. It looked like I got a 40dollar PayPal credit but it's a minus 40 voucher off so 0 dollars back.

They mentioned there were a lot of complaints about this seller.
I don't want to get in endless argument about me defrauding ebay — I explained I used PLUSPAPA. It took them a while to look into it, and they did say it was one off.

And i already have enough shoes as is. Plus i have better taste in shoes. New Balance and Asics is my go to shoe brand.

Same here, bought 1 pair for $30 and 1 pair for $0. They have refunded $100 to my paypal account for the $30 pair and $40 for the $0 pair. What is going on?
I just wanted to order 2 shoes and in a very weird in case now after i read all the comments above. I have ordered one 30$ intially(Still happy if this gets delivered). The second one was tennis shoes where i forgot to apply voucher(Yup i did that). Then sent a request to cancel the second order and placed thrid one with voucher. Today Adidas sent me a message stating that they cant really cancel my order and if i want, i can return it later for refund. EBay chat told me that, the seller should cancel it as i contacted them yesterday right after my order. But Adidas said NO. Just sent one more update as per Ebay chat advise today. Here everyone complaining about Adidas cancelling order but in my case, they are saying NO. They want to process the order paid with cash without voucher. Strange. Still my 3 shoe orders are active. Fingers crossed.
Fairly difficult to replicate that if it was a hack lol .
Didn't intend to do this 😉 but stuck with this weird scenario. Hoping to get refund or would be happy to get ebay voucher as well for that 40$ if they can't cancel it. I'll wait for their response again.
They’re canceling every single orders. Their recent feedback is all negative because of this

ebay support is hit and miss. Even with the same person.
I've already had a person handle my issue: no outcome.
5 min later, open chat, exact same person exact same issue, and it gets resolved (to my surprise) …
Be prepared to be on the chat for 1 hour if you want it resolved. Tip: stay friendly.

Funny how their feedback rating has dropped right down to 94.3% rating. Hundreds of negative feedback within the last few days. And it hasn't even stopped yet. This is very poor PR. A lot of people believe that they were scammed.
I wouldn't want to be in their PR department right now.
Not surprising though. There were a lot of legitimate orders for the shoes at $30 or $40 which Adidas decided to cancel because of an 'issue with the buyer's shipping address' cough
Would have been much cheaper for them in the long run to honour all of the orders and keep a better % rating and reputation.
ebay wont do anything against Adidas as they are a big seller ..they might probably even remove the reviews
If they just put pricing error it would have been fine, but they chose to go with "issue with buyers address" so nah negative feedback from me.

You can't. Adidas somehow block reviews once fully cancelled.

ppl upset not only becoz the $0 orders got cancelled,
this is not the first time ebay giving out free items,
just few weeks back we got free ugg shoes; anything under$49 for free; any selected items under $20 for free.
small business all honored the sale, but adidas just cancel everything.
here is something i don't understand,
adidas selling those at a discounted price of $40(thats the price on their website that day),
if they honor the sale they ar still the same amount of $40 from ebay,
they ar not losing any money, why the hell they cancel all the orders?!

So much for 'cancelled due to inventory issues wherein the item you purchased is no longer available at the warehouse'. They managed to restock very quickly!

This is why they cancel the shoes. They are responsible for covering most of the discount.

i don't think thats correct, the refunds from adidas are 100% and it all got back to ebay's account,
if seller funds most of the discount then this won't happen.
Lets say if you paid $30 for that shoes and adidas funds 50% of the discounts which is $35,
then they only need to refund you $65, $30 to ur account and $35 to ebay's account.
