Just create a new account using Apple ID and choose to not reveal your email address.

      • How do you do this? Cheers

        • Just purchase from your iPhone without signing in and it will appear as a sign up option in the check out.

Apple use obfuscated email addresses so hopefully you can do this indefinitely.

    Kogan, no thanks

Have bought several items from Kogan and never an issue. Had a warranty claim on G-Shock watch. They just asked relevant questions about what was wrong with it and then sent me another one. Easy as.

How's the price? Is it a massive discount?

    • It's the cheapest it's been - RRP is $599, but it's regularly available for $400-450

  • How would this compare to a Dyson v8

    • +1

I think dreame V11 has 150AW (air watt)
Dreame v11 has more tools include soft roller head but no "carpet head"
lock button (don't have to keep pressing while vacuum)

      Dyson v8 has 115AW. (eg.Dyson v10 has 150AW)
Dyson v8 usually come with "carpet head" but without soft roller head

It's cheaper, performs better, quieter, larger battery… Basically it wins hands down.

Unless you want accessories and epeen…

      • Haha cheers

Anyone with experience, knowledge on these Xiaomi vacuum cleaners? There's just so many different Xiaomi vacuums that I'm completely confused.

    Got a few questions:

What's the difference between the V10 and V11 - the V10 looks to have 2200pa suction and the V11 2100pa suction. Ok looks like the V10 has 140aw in comparison to the v11 which has 150aw.

Does it come within a spinning brush to pick up hair?

How's the suction on these Xiaomi vacuum cleaners? I'm looking for something decent to replace a regular power cord vacuum from ALDI. The ALDI vacuum has just lost its suction and it's pretty useless

The V11 has a longer battery life (90 mins vs 60), auto power adjusting, and a fancier display, but there's honestly not that much difference between them. You should also look at the Xiaomi Mi G10, which is very similar to the V11, but with a 70 min battery, more accessories, and it's generally cheaper.

Neither the Dreame V10 nor V11 comes with a carpet head, but the Xiaomi G10 does.

I ended up getting the Xiaomi G10 for the carpet head, plus it's white which my wife preferred. We upgraded from a Dyson V6 (and occasionally a Dyson corded vacuum), and this Xiaomi one has a fair bit more suction than the V6 (not quite as much as the corded). We honestly haven't used our corded vacuum since getting it though.

      • G10 price? Does it come with a flexible hose?

        Hey Nukkels,

Thanks so much for this in depth reply.
Looks like the V10 is the OzBargainer favourite in comparison to the V11.

Looks like I'll be getting the G10 for the carpet head.
I've only got a tiny unit with one medium/large rug in the lounge, so looks like a cord free vacuum will fit my needs.

        Cheers,

        Wystri

        • Did you get the G10? Did you find a good deal?

We went with the V10 from Kogan for $195. It has replaced an old Dyson barrel corded (DC35) and another old dyson stick which I'm not even sure which model it was but it's about 6-7 years old. Now for reference our house is mostly tiled and the carpet in the bedrooms is pretty thin. Given that for $200 bucks we're really happy with the V10 so far, the head it comes with works well for all our carpet and tiles, we also have a couple of rugs that are a bit thicker and end up with dog hair stuck on. Well on max the V10 handles that much better than both the stick Dyson and handheld. For the price I can't really fault it, it's built well, only complaint which is more a user issue is the vacuum head sits higher than the Dysons which means it doesn't get into some spots the Dyson could.
Given our use case I wouldn't pay roughly a 1/3rd more for the V11 but someone with thick carpets could justify the difference.

        Hey donkcat,

Thanks so much for the in depth usage of the V10! I was a little concerned about the suction power of these cord free vacuums. My home is only a tiny unit so looks like these Xiaomi vacuums will fit my needs just fine.

        Cheers,

        Wystri

  • Are any of the heads good for tiles and wooden floorboards? Also can I register a new email address to be eligible for this price?

    • +1

The main 'soft roller' head it comes with is ONLY good for hard floors like tile and floorboards.

      • wait, so it's not even good fir carpet cleaning?

        • Nah I believe the carpet cleaning head is an extra

          • @georgejefferson: We have this, mainly using on solid wood floorboards. Don't have a carpet head, but I'm still happy with the job the motorised roller does on our carpet and rugs (including wool, just not on maximum setting).

        • It works fine on rugs so might be ok

      • I use it on carpet and it works fine. Probably not that good on a thicker pile but works perfectly on my carpet.

  • can anyone also advise whether it's worthwhile purchasing the Kogan extended warranty $49 for 3 years in case the battery dies? Do they warrant that?

  • Does it have mopping feature ? And how does this compare with Miele C3 all rounder.

  • Can anyone tell me if the carpet head for the dreame has a wider mouth? I only have hard floors but I have longhaired pets that shed and also track in little leaves and bits. The head out comes with seems to clog up easily with anything (little sticks, leaves, hair). It's really easy to clean but just wondering if the carpet head would cope better? The little roller wheels on this head also clog up with hair really quickly and need to be levered out to clean or it's harder to push - could literally do this at least once per room but usually don't bother
