Logitech Crayon (for iPad 6th Generation and Later) $102 C&C /+ Delivery @ Harvey Norman & Officeworks

150

The Logitech crayon is on sale at Harvey for $102, down from $129. Not as cheap as the $69 price a while back (Feb 2020) but may be timely/helpful for those homeschooling in Sydney.

Officeworks has matched the price (officeworks.com.au).

The Crayon has flat sides so it doesn't roll away. Slightly cheaper than the officiall Apple Pencil (main difference is no pressure sensitivity on the Crayon).

The Crayon is compatible with all iPads that are a 2018 release or later that are Apple Pencil compatible:

iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd gen) - Model Numbers: A1876, A2014, A1895, A1983
iPad Pro 11-inch - Model Numbers: A1980, A2013, A1934, A1979
iPad (7th gen)
iPad (6th gen) - Model Numbers: A1893, A1954
iPad Air (3rd gen) - Model Numbers: A2152, A2123, A2153, A2154
iPad mini (5th gen) - Model Numbers: A2133, A2124, A2126, A2125
*All iPad models must be updated to iOS 12.2 and above

  • Same price @ office works

    • Thanks! Will update.

  • Okay for note taking but if you're going to be drawing as a serious hobby or for work, get the Pencil 2.

    • Agreed. It’s good for school work I would say. Note taking - which is what it’s designed for.

    • I think Pencil 2 only works for certain newer models. Older models need to use Pencil 1.

  • Should I?

  • Bit too much for kids to break tho

  • Laser model at bigW for $69, was $40 in recent sale
