  • Worth it if you already have the 2 games on Wii U ?

    • +1

Well it doesn’t add anything really, but it’s portable. This is an excellent switch lite game IMO

  • +1

    Love this game

  • Is this game worth getting? To relieve lockdown boredom?

      That's what philosophy is for

  • cheapest prices for physical copies

Are non-physical copies ever cheaper than the physical ones? From what little I've seen, Switch online store prices tend to be a long way into tell-him-he's-dreaming crazy-person territory.

    • Will be the norm. in the not too distant future, no physical, full control of the market.

      • +1

Not if people keep buying physical and reject the absurd digital prices.

        • +1

People will take the path of least resistance. If digital is easier, but more expensive, that's the route they'll take.

Does it make it right? Maybe not.

          • @Faro: Thing is Nintendo make alot of $$ from game collectors who prefer physical.

This group will happily buy Zelda Windwaker on Gamecube, Wii U and then Switch just so they can put it in their shelf. I would have thought going fully digital would mean people would less likely buy games they already have.

      • Bloody well hope not, otherwise in 10 years when Nintendo want more money they will turn off the servers, licenese checks will fail and can't play any games. Make you get a new decide and all new games.

And forget about reselling the console with games at a later date if the games are all tied to your account.

  • Was $58 on 30th June.
Well worth the buy, it'll be another Mario classic with prices ever increasing on physical copies.

  • +1

If you don't have Mario maker 2 I'd higher recommend it over this.
Still has a single player mode if that's all your interested in, which has levels mixed in with all game styles (Super Super Mario Bros./Super Mario Bros.3/Super Mario World./New Super Mario Bros. U./Super Mario 3D World)
But also lets you build your own levels, play from millions of others and has online vs modes.

  • This and Luigi’s Mansion 3 have been $59 for a while on Amazon but still a good deal. There’s a post back in November when Amazon AU had LM3 for $49 so I’ve been hopeful that might happen again.
