      Yes, it's the same camera.

      • I think he was subtly pointing out that there are cheaper bargains around, particularly once you remember how cheap 16GB of SDHC is, and how pretty useless Adobe Premiere Elements 9 is generally (and that the current edition is actually Adobe Premiere Elements 10 - $90).

Interested parties should note that the Panasonic HC-X900 & 800 have been announced to replace this camcorder; and thus you can expect some deals coming around as people clear old stock.

        • australian stock/warranty.

        • IIRC Panasonic cameras and camcorders have a "Limited Worldwide Warranty". Mind, after the first usages the most likely death for a camcorder is you dropping it…

        • To add salt to injury, for $12 more, you can get the TM900 modem
(same as the SD900 but with 32Gig internal memory)

          Agree these are grey imports
so no Neg on the post.

  • Yes, this Australian stock with Australian warranty and not a grey import. It is the cheapest we have seen amongst local suppliers. The DWI camera is a grey import.

    • I know - thus no neg :)
