Will it work with the iPad 3 though? That is the $55 question…

      • From all the rumours looks like the chassis won't change too much, so fingers crossed! :-)

jv, you sir are a tossa!

    • Atleast you were polite lol

    • Given its impending release, it doesn't really seem an unreasonable question.

  • is the built-in tuner DAB+ compatible?

    • No it's not SSJX, although if you use an app like TuneIn Radio you can have access to radio stations all around the world, Podcasts & more.

I wish they'd start carrying accessories for the Iconia Tabs. I want to see some decent bargains on those too.

    • Yeah our teams are always looking at new products & platforms, so you never know. At the moment though across the world the iPad is the dominant platform and with one shape/one connector is the simpler of the Tablets to design for.

Having said that, check out our Wireless Speaker range which work on iPad, Android, laptops, Bluetooth devices etc http://www.logitech.com/en-au/tablet-accessories/speakers

what iconia accessories? There is 99 times more stuff available for the ipad. Have the same problem with my moto xoom

  • I wonder how good the sound is? Also wonder if there is anything better out there.

I think I'll wait until I can hear one in store before committing. Also recent purchase of Sennheiser RS 160s has left my savings account a little empty!

Dick Smith, OfficeWorks, JB etc will have them in store & we are starting to get reviews in from people that have bought them which have been positive so far. It's not a home theatre system by any stretch of the imagination, but great value nonetheless.

  • I too want a (decent) dock for the Iconia. The acer one is crap!

  • This price is awesome. But the dock looks similar to size as the iPad…not sure how good a sounds and bass it can produce

The Wireless Boombox will give you the most bass out of our range.

    • I've just bought one. So happy with it. You can access the buttons on the unit but its not necessary when your playing music. The cool thing is when you open the app "music" you control everything on the iPad including volume and you can just swipe the iPad to change songs if you don't want to use playlists.

Sound is pretty awesome for such a small unit just make sure you turn off any EQ settings on the iPad.

I received mine within 2 days to my door. Couldn't be happier.

      • Hey try the TuneIn Radio App…you'll love it

  • Big W have this on sale for $46 + $4 delivery currently - for anyone who missed out on this deal.

BTW Does this supply 2.0amp 5v USB power to charge an iPad Gen3?

    • Chris it's compatible with iPad, iPad 2 & the New iPad
