Just going through this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/640127 and saw this 31.5inch here, I thought the specs looks not too bad also with the free delivery for a 31.5inch monitor
Quiet like the red touch on this monitor too actually.

Yes the other deal is certainly better, but this one is 31.5inch which may appeals to some. VA is not that bad, an IPS panel at 31.5 inch will cost a lot more. Just saying…..
Would you able to find a 31.5inch monitor at the moment much better than this one though at this price point?
It depends on which manufacturer makes the VA panel. Some VA panels are better than others. Some monitors have a Samsung VA panel which is better than a generic one.
I've got an MSI MAG272C 27" 165hz curved gaming monitor which has got a Samsung VA panel.
Was 324 last month unfortunately not a deal
Oh should have shared, I would have bought one
it was posted tho https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/633041
Might as well get the Dell equivalent for the same price. The Dell is a 27" though, but has a higher refresh rate (165hz), it's also IPS if you prefer that.
The non-curved, non-VA, non-32", 165Hz equivalent? :P
I am after a 32in IPS flat panel, is there any good under $500? I think the curved panels are not IPS at all?
nope, I have been looking and cant even find anything under near that
If you are after 1440p then you have a number of 75hz options such as the LG 32QN600 or pay a bit more for the new Gigabyte M32Q QHD 165hz.
If you are buying it for productivity, I'd suggest you to check out a 32" QHD in store to ensure the level of clarity is acceptable to your eyes first though.
Thanks, decided to go with a 27 inch instead.
nothing special here tbh, this is a VA panel with poor brightness.
the other post u linked is a IPS panel with much better brightness and $100 less + free ~$90 mouse
