          I think I got glow in the dark ones from Daiso. I guess eBay/Ali would have many options. Can't recall the diameter, I think there are like 2 standards"?

    I thought a glue gun would be a pretty useless tool to have but I'm surprised how often I use mine. I'd recommend going with a cordless one, pretty sure Ozito have one for like $30-$40 (battery not included).

      I've always wanted a glue gun on hand, but how important would you say a cordless one is? Can't imagine I'd use it very much either just for the odd projects here and there.

        It's more a convenience thing personally. I wouldn't say it's that important to have but being able to just pick it up, switch it on and use it as opposed to finding a socket near the job or carrying the item to the glue gun was worth the extra cost to me.

        My corded glue gun doesn't cool down instantly. For small repair jobs around the house can I plug it in until it gets hot, then unplug it and walk to where I want to use it.

      Agree. I have like the 5$ AC one from 2 dollar store, and ive been surprised at how often i use it. Good for temporarily fixing stuff togehter was well - you can stick things on really well, but also easily remove them later, which is pretty useful. I have wished i had a cordless for getting into tight spaces or moving around more easily.

      Yeh, having a bunch of Ozito batteries from various clearances I ended up buying the cordless glue gun. That as well as the inflator are both handy cordless tools to have around.

        I was in exactly the same boat, had a few other Ozito tools from previous deals. As I get older, convenience plays a big part in my purchases now lol.

      Do you use the "standard" glue sticks? I find they don't stick well to pretty much anything I have tried it on. Except for like paper, but there are better options for glueing paper imo.
      Unless I can "anchor" a blob of glue in the crevices. On a flat surface, it has a very weak hold.

        I have also had this issue. Tried use it to keep parts in place after a PS2 repair but didn't hold.

    Thanks OP, got one…I think it's on sale because Aldi listed similar glue gun (Wednesdays catalogue..)..we really need someone in competition to keep Bunnings in check..:-)

    Would never go back to a corded one after having gone cordless.
    It takes a little longer to heat up, and sometimes it's not charged but cordless far outweighs the disadvantages of the bloody cord.

      Agree, the gun itself is usually so light that the weight of the cord drags it off the table. With the cordless you have a steady stand (the battery).

    Ever since getting the Bosch glue pen from that deal a while back, never going back to corded. Very convenient and in the time I've grabbed it from the toolbag in the store room and walked over to wherever I need it to use it, already heated up and good to go.

      Looks very handy, 15 sec warm-up time would nice. My ozito cordless does take its time, though is using 11m sticks.

      Is the Bosch a discontinued product? Don't seem to readily available

    I got excited for this deal, never owned a glue gun before, watched about 3 Youtube videos on hot glue guns but found it has zero use cases for me.

    user manual says 30w 11mm sticks, usual glue sticks are 7.2mm diameter. will 7.2mm glue sticks work fine in this? cant seem to find 11mm glue sticks on Bunnings website.

      7mm sticks will be too thin to grab and pull through using the trigger, could only push through manually if they're all you had in a pinch.

      The ones kwchaz linked are what you need.
