    • Why this over the Tefal, other than price?

      • +1

they all do the same thing, think the kambrook is also bigger, design looks good to & main thing well priced

    • How does the Kambrook compare to the Ninja AF160?

      • +1

likely same, ninja slightly bigger 5.2l, can get the ninja for $154 tonight at TGG code HOME15

        • +1

Thanks! I purchased the Ninja from GG.

The Ninja is advertised to go up to 230C (Kambrook maxes at 200C). I assume the Kambrook has a lower wattage.

@ddhar: good choice, for extra $35 probably worth it

Man these are cheap brands, never anything more than $39 at Kmart type stuff (Tefal, Kambrook, etc). Now that they’re air fryers, they’re suddenly hundreds of dollars. Are they worth it?

    • I've got a Tefal soup maker that was approx $200 and had it for 5-6yrs and it's still going strong, admittedly I only use it in winter as I've never got around to making gazpacho yet.

Rather pay the extra $44 and deal with David Jones for warranty than an ebay seller with 0 feedback

      • …and who only set up their Ebay account today..

  • How does 1.2Kg compare to 5litre? Both are showing they can fit a whole chicken so doesn't seem to be much in it.

I have a tefal air fryer. I had an issue 12m into purchase. I contacted Tefal as it should have been an easy part replacement they fobbed me off for 12month telling me to reach out to my local Tefal repair agent (they just game me a selection of names and emails) all whom told me they did not replace. I went back to Tefal AU customer and notified them of the responses at which they told me they would get back to me. This went on for a whole 12 month taking me around the 24 month point and then said oh well it is now out of warranty bad luck.

Luckily for me I had a paper chain and the seller Amazon stepped in and refunded at this stage. Really poor and wasteful behaviour from Tefal.
