I live in a loft and I plan to use this to monitor my cat when I'm working in my office upstairs.

Setup was quick, video quality is pretty decent and it has night mode (yet to test this).

Camera angle is static, and cloud recording is extra via subscription model but I don't need this feature.

Early impression, pretty happy at the price.

  I'd be more tempted to pay a little more for something like https://www.amazon.com.au/Reolink-Dual-Band-Security-Wireles… - pan tilt, higher resolution, 5 Ghz wifi etc…. currently $64.59 ($75.99 less current 15% coupon). Or frankly just leave the cat alone… ;-)

    Nice! I came across that brand as well in my research and I woulda considered the Wyze Cam v3 (closer to Pet Cam price wise) but couldn't find a local seller. Might consider your model if I need a tilting model in the future.

    Does exactly as described. It streams the footage on demand (ie. whenever you open up the app). No need for cloud subscription for this, only if you want it to record and have historical footage.

    Video quality is decent, night mode works quite well too. Have yet to try access the footage while out and about via mobile as we’re in lockdown at the moment.

  I just used a cheap cam with SD Card., Still has the app to see in live few, but everything is recorded to the card and you can playback on the app
