Just got an email from these guys.

Multiple orders (one dispatch per order) with delayed dispatch requests any weekday up to the end of December 2021 is available.

Previous experiences with Shipit (Couriers Please) was not ideal. The order took almost two weeks to deliver (to Sydney) after LBC had lodged the delivery. Next time round I would probably go with Australia Post ($8.99) for an extra dollar. YMMV.

  • Any idea how to do the delayed order part? Is it after you pay - I've gotten up to that point and no area I can see to enter a delayed shipping request.

          I went through to pay and nope there is nowhere to request it. So sent an email and hope they can see it and change the order.

            @admira: I put the request on the note section, I remember it was in the payment method page? Anyways I also emailed them right after to put another reminder and they replied with confirmation, I think yours will be ok

            • @becku: I didn't see a notes section, I went over it a few times quite carefully… so not sure whats happening there. Probably user error on my side!

                @admira: The notes section appears on the “View Cart” page. If you chose one of the “express” payment options (PayPal, Apple Pay, etc) then you will not see it. You need to go through the full checkout process instead.

                • @cynix: Ahh I did "buy it now". If you do "buy it now" there is no notes section.

      You can put your delayed dispatch request in the "special instructions for seller" box on the cart page, if you opt for an express checkout this will skip the cart page and the opportunity to put the delayed dispatch request in. However, you're always welcome to email us with your delayed dispatch request and we'll happily take care of the admin for you. Please be sure to let me know if you have any more questions :)

    Every order I've received with shipit through these guys has turned up within three days of despatch unlike when they used Aust post took close to two weeks

        I experienced the same as you previously. Very slow shipping with Shipit. I ordered again with Auspost and only took 2 days to Sydney from dispatch.

      • I've also had slow transit experiences with shippit from Melbourne to Sydney (not just limited to Lime Blue, but with Melbourne roasters as well). Will give it a go if Auspost is an option.

      • I also had issues with shippit - first delivery was to some random newsagent and ended up taking a whole month to get to perth at which point the coffee was old. Still tasted fantastic though!!

    Love their 50% off deals. The last Brazil single origin ones are really good

    • Is that the peaberry one? Myself and a couple of friends had it but didn't really enjoy it. Was a struggle to get through it. I felt too bad to complain to them though. The staff are so nice lol

        Did you see the email about making the grind a lot coarser than normal?

        Once I did that, I think that bean became just about my favourite! Very tasty.

    I went with australia post shopping, let’s hope it doesn’t take 2 weeks to arrive!

  • I must admit I cringe a little when I see a vendor used Shippit and avoid that vendor if I know up front - I've had a few bad experiences there too.

    I calculated once that the large land turtle could have left my place when I got the "package on its way" email, travelled the 100 km to pick up the item and got back a week before it arrived from Shippit w/ Couriers Please.
