Yes, long, long gone are the days of https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/374369

  • How does this compare to the instant pot?

  • Been using the original cook4me for couple of years now

Seldom use the build in recipes TBH

It’s a pretty simple to use electric pressure cooker. The auto release pressure is good for safety reason, but it does takes time to heat up the pot before cooking or browning (5-8mins at least)

  • I have one of these and it's overpriced with a small cooking area as its deep and narrow.
Did purchase the extra air fryer lid last week for it.
It has built in programs which I rarely use.
Would rather recommend the ninja foodi 300.
It has a much wider base (so more surface area for browning/saute), plus it has a built in air fryer lid for a similar price.
They are both pressure cookers but the Tefal just has some recipes programed in- very overpriced for this. I live in two addresses so that's why I have two different pressure cookers.
May be a good price but an instapot from Costco at half the price will probably do the job or for a similar cost the dual function ninja foodi that is a pressure cooker , air fryer .

  • I had the older version of this, I sold it for the Phillips AIO. This is pretty pricey for just pressure cooking, although the auto release is handy, but Phillips is half the price for a lot more functions.. Recipes can just be Google searched anyway

BTW - Amazon have a coupon which brings the cost down to $239 and you can then also claim the $50 cash back.
