    • It is very funny that when i click the apus link on the google chrome browser, i get the following message :

google blocking google as malware !!!

btw, the online price you quoted is indeed the deal shopping square posted. check the link, they are both same.

      • Ah ok.. I didn't click too far. But one thing that did throw me.. was the ShoppingSquare said priced reduced from $99.95 whereas Apus site said from $109.. so.. yeh.

      • OzBargain uses Google Analytics as well and it appears Chrome has not blocked us yet :)

        • Sorry I take that back.

Google-Analysis.com is actually not owned by Google and is indeed a malicious site. See this article at ZDNet for detail. And guess what — Apus.com.au is hosted at SmartyHost where they are hacked and malicious code got injected into HTML files…

  • RRP price is always grossly inflated and always to be taken with a grain of salt anyway :)

    • heh yeh for sure.

but they listed the RRP , and then listed the previous 'reduced price' and their new 'sale bargain buy me nowwww please' price.

      Hehe.

  • I actually like when SSq have $1 shipping deals, where sometimes real bargains can be scored. However, I don't really know what's the go with Danny for not putting postage price up for his listings. I know it would make the price look inflated and might put buyers off, but at least it's an honest post.

Btw, postage is $18. So the actual product would cost $67.

  • So…. does anyone have any experience with these types of cameras……are they any good/worth $67?

    • $67 is okay. I have one with 5MP and it takes 640x480 MPEG4 videos at 30fps. The low-light shot is pretty useless and out-door shots is okay but not great…

      • Thanks for that……sounds probably not much better than what I can already get from the "video" feature on my still camera……might stick with that for now……..

        • You'll find the video feature of your still camera (if it does 640x480 @ 30FPS) will actually be better than this as still camera usually have much better sensor.
