$100 USB-powered portable HDD

Gentlepersons,

I'm looking for a ~$100 portable hard drive. I'd like it to be USB-powered, so no additional power brick/dongle.

I'm interested in buying either in Melbourne CBD, or from some place with reasonable postage to the CBD.

I've searched Ozbargain, but there's only one live deal (500GB for $80). Are there any other bargains/stores I should be looking at?

    2.5" USB-powered hard drives should have all been tagged "portable hard drive".

    There are still some offers there although many have already expired. Keep checking that page once a day I guess.

      Thanks, Scotty. I'll watch it, but I was hoping someone had a little local knowledge they could share. Maybe a small local store that's a couple of bucks cheaper than the rest?

      If you can afford an extra $22 you can get a 1.5TB from DSE. For 3 times the storage space it's gotta be worth it. I got one and it's a bit bulkyier than others but is still USB Powered.

      I got mine free delivery, looks like they've ran out. Check to see if your local store has stock from the website, you might be lucky a store local to me still has a couple.
