  • Waiting for Skinceuticals 15-20% off, anyone knows how often they come by?

    • very rarely. They had CE ferulic bundles on special last month, but even that was only 7 or 8% saving for an outlay of $300 +. That said, they do have a GWP 15ml HA Intensifier with spend of $159 or more right now. I'd value that at around $75, and it's an excellent, yet expensive, hyaluronic acid serum.

Perfect time to buy aesop products!

    • +4

Yep! Always buy Aesop when this is around.

If you don't want samples and a Tim Tam, The Iconic also sells Aesop and is also 20% cashback today (although I think they're ex-GST unlike Adore Beauty)

      • What would you recommend buying from Aesop?

        • +1

If you get pimples, their Control gel. I also like their hand balm, body balm and body cleanser (different scents available). The hand balm and body balm is $105 for 500ml, so if you combine this with your Amex Statement Credit, that's a $40 saving.

Tried the shampoo that came in one of their kits; don't rate that.

      • Last time my cashrewards tracked adore Beauty at ex gst too…

        • Mine tracked with GST today, however when I had to put in a manual claim last last cashback, that was done ex-GST.

Is it really worth the price? Even at 20% ack they’re insanely expensive.

      • +2

        Better than paying full-price 🤷🏻‍♀️

        • True…but a cheaper product that is just as effective is every better. I just don’t understand why a hand wash would be $40.

          • +4

@UndeclaredFreak: Because Aesop la. No one's forcing you to spend $40 on hand wash (although one does have pumice in it that exfoliates your hands as you wash, if that helps).

It's like people buying cars I guess. Someone people are happy with a base line Corolla, whereas others want all the bells and whistles

            • -4

@kerfuffle: I was simply asking if the product is worth the price tag. A fair question IMO. I’m fully aware no one is forcing me to purchase.

              • +1

@UndeclaredFreak: When one person will say it's worth it, another will say it's not. 🤷🏻‍♀️ In other words, it's subjective.

              • @UndeclaredFreak: Most (all?) fragrances are far more expensive than CWH/Amazon/Myer, but Aesop, for example, are reasonably priced. You will have to compare the items you want to buy to see if it is worth or not.

Again, "worth the price tag" is relative. That's your decision.

              • -2

@UndeclaredFreak: Care to justify the neg vote? If this is against Aesop having the audacity to charge $40 for hand wash, you know Adore Beauty sell a range of brands, not just Aesop, right?

                • -3

@kerfuffle: Went to the website and a $40 coupon code came up, better saving, am also able to use the large array of bonus’ that Adore offer. And I don’t have to worry about CR not tracking my order, like they do half the time.
No issue with Aesop charging that much at all…I do have issue with your attitude and lack of responding anything helpful to my reasonable question. People ask all the time on this website if a product is worth the price tag. If the response to every one of those is “no ones forcing you to buy” “everything’s subject” then the website would be pretty unhelpful.
People like to hear others opinions on brands before purchasing.

                  • @UndeclaredFreak:

People like to hear others opinions on brands before purchasing.

That's what Google is for. I'm sorry you felt I wasn't helpful, however it's the truth; whether it's worth it is subjective. You won't know unless you try it out yourself. I said the shampoo sucked, but someone else might find the shampoo the bee's knees.

That coupon code can't be used on Aesop just in case you were considering buying, by the way.

        No

  • +1

Wow good timing! I missed the last 20% cashback and I’m down to about a week’s worth left of the JS hair vitamins 😅 thanks OP!

  • If I'm spending $99+ can I use the 'BONUS' code for a free sample? Or will that void the Cashback?

    • +1

Cashback is ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards.

    • I think it will still work as 'BONUS' is the code you will use on the Adore website.

  • Thanks!! Picked up a couple Olaplex items + stacked with Amex offer. 👌

  • Transaction at 12:15pm, still no tracking

    • Mine tracked within minutes via the CR app

  • Stacked with Amex offer and also tracked in CR PENDING however didn’t see this post in time and added BONUS coupon code for free sample on checkout so I guess I’ll find out if I qualified or not… sigh

    • +1

Just checked my CR account and I luckily qualified for the $20 thanks

  • I have a $20 AB voucher, if I use that and spend just over $100 will I still get the $20 Amex credit as the balance will be less than $100?

I also read on here something about Amex and G Pay, and Qantas credits? Is there any benefit of using G Pay as I've never used it before?

    • You need to charge a minimum $100 on your Amex, otherwise you won't get the $20 credit.

      • Thanks

It says on Cashrewards that you may not be eligible for cashback if you use a gift card for payment. Do you know if it will be eligible or not?

        • No, because I don't use Adore Beauty gift cards. If it says may not be eligible, I wouldn't risk using it.

  • +2

hey guys, just a heads up. you need to check if cashrewards has tracked your transaction or not.

this is the second time they missed my adore beauty purchase. if they did, you can manually submit a claim after 3 or some days.

btw, i like aesop parsley seed serum.

    • Mine didn’t track too.. have to submit a claim manually.

  • How do you submit a manual claim? I have not got the cash back. Thanks

    • +1

You have to wait seven days before you can submit a manual claim

      • Thanks
