    • Athu kondu entha kozhappam?

  • the only issue with these, is that you either wipe all or none of it

that sucks. would ne nice to have it as an electronic whiteboard for listing things.

had a similar one. sadly theyre absolute rubbish

    • Wouldn't agree that they're rubbish.
I use a large one on a cheap tablet stand, draw a table on it with say 4 columns and add a list of jobs that need to be done for a particular project with a tick column in each row.
      PROJECT: Painting Bedroom Like this-
The writing stays clear and it's more robust than a sheet of paper; and after all the tasks have been completed, can be wiped and cleaned up ready for the next job.

          Thanks for the suggestion.
I use the writing tablet cos it doesn't matter if it gets paint, oil, or crap on it, or gets knocked over, trod on, or damaged.
If I'm working under the car I can still use it with oily hands which I wouldn't do with a tablet or phone.

  • Had bought one in the last deal, about $16.
    The kids absolutely love it.

Pros - Cheap, Good screen sensitivity, decent size, has a lock button to prevent accidental screen erase, long lasting battery
Cons - Cant take screen prints, erase all or nothing, no computer connections, not rechargeable

Would recommend if purchasing as a toy for kids

    • can it handle being tossed around by a toddler?

      • +3

nothing can survive being tossed or thrown around by a toddler. it will break.

it would have to be made out of vibranium or unobtainium to survive such an ordeal.

        • iPhone 6 has survived about a year of our toddler's daily use, case is a little worse for wear but otherwise fine.

      • I gave it to my boy when he was 3, and his sister was 6 months. Its been going well for over a year now.
Its got a few scratches but its still in pretty good condition.

  • We have something similar we bought a few years ago now in 8". We write on it at least once a week. Battery is the original one, and still works great.

Ours is very basic, but does exactly what it says on the box. Great for not wasting paper.

  • Thanks, ordered one for the kids.

  • Got one, but would agree their website is rubbish

  • Love these so much. Handy for scribbling down down notes when I'm modelling in fusion 360

Having a hard time understanding how these can be any better than that old boomer technology - pen & paper?

      • this you can write on over and over. unlike a piece of paper.

      • I'm not wasting paper after I'm done scribbling

  • Does it stay on all the time? will it erase when no battery?

    • +1

I dont fully understand how it works. But the battery is only used to erase the drawing.

    • +1

Yes, stays on all the time. You present the front-bottom button to erase it.

There's a 'lock' button on the side, to prevent accidentally erasing things.

      • oic!

  • I have the 13.5" pads and family loves them. Happy to buy the 10" for travel. Gets used every day

  • Ordered, Thx

  • Would happily pay double or triple if it just allowed you to save to sd card

  • Ah wish these were rechargeable and not button battery as I wanted to gift one of these to my nephew who is 2yrs old.

    • Tape the button section down?

  • Mine from the last deal just carked it, not sure why. I took it apart and it works fine aroudn the perimeter of the screen (behind the bezel) but it otherwise won't clear in the middle. Appears to be some sort of failure for the elctricity to get to the primary part of the screen, assuming it uses voltage to clear the display. Attemtping to directly short the screen (as it just has two terminals) also failed. Weird.

Anyone actually know how these are supposed to work?
