  The Federal Reserve must be using Dyson vacuums as a measure of inflation. No wonder they are so worried about hyper inflation - $1400 for a vacuum cleaner!

  I've got a V6 and moved into a carpeted home. Allergies are bad so was gonna upgrade. Is this worth the crazy price tag or should I just buy a corded vac (Miele c3) and deal with the cord for deep cleans.

    Have a look at the V10 animal as recommended by some of the posters above. The amount the dirt/dust it picks up from carpets every time i run through them every other day makes me wonder how the heck does it keep being so dirty?!?!

    My corded dyson has been sitting in the closet since I got the v10!

  For anyone interested you can buy the hepa filter though dyson for $25. They will tell you it doesn't fit but they are telling tall ones.
