  • How do these compare to reputable name brands?

    • +1

Cheaper, and gives what you need.

  • Be careful of these cheapies. Bought a Voltax that also claimed 50A max discharge rate and it was nowhere near 50A. If you try a low end Air Compressor or any other device up to 50A - the BMS simply discharges the entire battery.

    • +1

BMS simply discharges the entire battery

      Seems to be working.

    • I read a few good things about voltax bring the best of the cheapies, thats not good to read was going to get the 200Ah one

      • The 200AH one claims to support a higher discharge rate. The pink ones are apparently much better than the green ones.

Would be good to find a YouTube review attempting to use up to the claimed amp rating constantly.

      • If you search EnerCore on YouTube, there are a couple of review videos made by our customers. One of those videos is reviewing our 200Ah battery.

    • Hi, all Enercore lithium batteries equipped JBD BMS that allows 100A continuous discharge and 200A peak discharge for 5 seconds. You will have to hook up 2.56kw equipment and let them run at full power for more than 5 seconds to trigger the BMS cut off. However we don't recommend you do so because it hurts the moss tube on BMS board.

      • 100A continuous? I’d need to see that to believe it.

      • Hi OP - what kind of cells are in these batteries ?

Would love to test an air compressor on them - if it works I will buy it.

Where can I come to test it ?

        • Our office address is unit 4 Whyalla Place, Preston 2170 NSW.

  • @Enercore > what brand cells are inside?

    • Hi, Gotion prismatic cells have been equipped in the battery.

      • What are the specs of the cells please ?

  • I really want to buy one of these for my off-grid weekender. How much capacity doe sit have when its charged to 12.8 volts - like thats the max voltage that the SLA charger operates.

    • +1

It would be very low - 20% or less. Best to get a charger that supports LiFePo4.

    • Hi, the steady voltage at fully charged is about 13.6v

  • A few things.

9.2V low voltage cutoff is VERY low, lower than you would want to routinely discharge your battery, although not atypical of some batteries in the market. 10V would be much better. Alternatively, to preserve battery life only discharge to about 10%-20% of capacity.

    "Infinite" parallel connection.
Grain of salt hyperbole, but how many of these batteries connected in parallel have you tested? Most typical BMS' limit the number to 4.

    3 year warranty
What does it actually entail? Full or pro-rata replacement, return to base at YOUR expense?

Can be fully charged in 1-2 hours
Only if not fully discharged AND you charge at the maximum - which is not recommended for most cells. The optimal charge rate is usually quoted at <= 0.3C, or ~33A for a 100Ah LFP, hence about 3 hours for a depleted battery.
