Hi all. Last week's deal is back, with $50 cashback - guaranteed! Hopefully everything runs smoothly for amaysim this time around. Note you must only purchase the $74.99 SIM as it utilises a code unique to Cashrewards (do not purchase the $75 site-discounted one). I'll give ample notice here if/when we get close to 3000 sales, but should be enough to go around. Provided you activate by July 25, amaysim has promised all cashback will be approved in your accounts by August 7. If you availed of last week's promo, feel free to grab another - just ensure the terms below are adhered to. Any issues at all with tracking, see item 13. Thanks for your support. Offer terms. Please read carefully before proceeding with purchase:

  1. Limited strictly to the first 3000 mobile services (redemptions), and one per Cashrewards member. Offer expires when (1) cap is reached (sold out), (2) withdrawn by amaysim, or (3) 11:59pm AEST 07/07/21 (whichever occurs first).

  5. Order the $150 6-month Unlimited 125GB mobile SIM for $74.99. If purchase price shows anything other than $74.99, you have not activated the correct offer and cashback is not guaranteed. You will receive the SIM within 2-10 business days..
  6. Offer is available only on desktop browsers. It is NOT available on mobile browsers or on the Cashrewards App.
  7. If PayPal is used as payment, you will still need to verify your ID through 'my amaysim' after purchase in order to validate the sale.
  8. Turning auto-renewal off after activation will not disqualify you from this cashback offer.
  9. amaysim SIMs bought from retail stores/outlets are EXCLUDED from cashback. You must purchase only via the offer link on Cashrewards.
  10. Cannot be used with any other amaysim or 3rd party promos/codes/referrals (i.e. Groupon offers etc).
  11. Direct any enquiries regarding delivery, activation or ordering directly to amaysim customer support via their website.
  12. Fraudulent orders and activities will result in your Cashrewards account being banned and rewards forfeited.
  13. If for any reason your purchase fails to track, please don’t worry, we'll take care of everything. The code embedded in the link for the $74.99 SIM is exclusive to Cashrewards so you’ll have no issues provided you activate the SIM within the given timeframe (do not purchase the site-discounted $75 SIM - it utilises a different link & non-exclusive code, and cashback is not guaranteed). After 7 days, a 'send claim' button will appear in your Click History. Simply attach a screenshot of amaysim's confirmation email (PDF) showing the service (mobile) & invoice numbers and lodge the claim (PDF also available on your amaysim dashboard).           I'd suggest yes, but only once amaysim confirms that there won't be a three-peat. In their defence though, they are simply the best bunch of people to work with and this is obviously something they didn't want to happen :)

    I had issues with the $60 Amaysim deal back in March & have been scared to use anymore Amaysim deals…TA fixed it all up for me though which I appreciated a lot! Am pretty sure the issue is on Amaysim's end & not Cashrewards as TA has always been responsive & helpful whenever I've messaged him on here :)

  • I bought two previous cashrewards / Amaysim promo deals over the last 2 YEARS (so this ain't new). Amaysim wouldn't honour either of them saying it was incorrectly advertised (they actually said advertised wrong on ozbargain). Cashrewards could do nothing as they only handle the cashback side.
    To me it's like walking into Coles and buying an Amaysim Sim with say $5 worth of Flybuys points. But then the sim can't be used. Amaysim blaim Coles / Coles blaim Amaysim. Surely both parties have a responsibility when selling a product.
    Cut a long story short, after maybe 3 months of emails and 4 chats, and a report to the TIO a refund arrived. Which sounds good, but it's a total waste of your time.
    Amaysim or whoever it is shouldnt be trading this way until they clean up their act.

      • Ive got the chain of emails that links to the deals I can send you. Incorrectly advertised was their exact words. Do you want me to post it here or PM it? To be honest, I cant believe Amaysim didn't just honour it. Probably $200 in wages following it up for $2 cost to them (both Sim deals were just a 30 day loss leader type thing).

            The response from Katherine G at Amaysim was:

            "We acknowledged that the promo was offered and purchased through Cash Rewards but for some reasons, the $6 payment didn't successfully reach the merchant which Cash Rewards has a deal with- in this case, amaysim.

            There are few reasons as to why a payment made through Cash Rewards is not posted on the merchant's end (i.e. amaysim) and two of which are (1) insufficient funds on the payment method a customer registered with Cash Rewards (2) a system failure causing the payment not to be transferred from Cash Rewards to merchant (i.e amaysim) Either way, I am afraid we do not have control over it."

            So at this point Amaysim were saying they couldn't do anything, and then Cashrewards said they couldn't do anything either (and you don't really have a ticket for this situation, but I got a response by chosing another unrelated option).

            I ended up emailing my Payment receipts to Amaysim and they refunded me for both. In summary, total waste of time to just to get my money back.

            I'll see if I can dig up the other one. This is the one they say was incorrectly advertised on Ozbargain, but to be honest, I'm done with Amaysim deals, not worth the hassel, I'm not touching them… so don't need any follow up.

  • Anyone else issues with the 'total spend' section in the app? It shows 'Total spend $224.99 - Next bill xx July'. Amaysim assured me this is 'wrong', just don't understand why this is happening. Same issue with the sim from last week (same deal), showing as 'Total spend $375'. I'm already regretting going for this deal as one of the sims has gone missing in the mail (they won't do anything about if unless 14 days have passed) and these random charges don't give me much faith in their billing department either.

  • I got this deal before it was pulled, it was in click history but did not track. Raised the missing CB request, CS have added as pending and forwarded on the details to Amaysim. i haven't activated yet but will do before 25 Jul. will this be ok?
