ASICS Gel Kayano 28 $212.47 Delivered (Save $50) @ The Running Warehouse

SUNSUPER15

First post, be kind.

I was about to pull the trigger on the new Asics Gel-Kayano 28s at the full RRP of $270 on the Asics site, as I was doubtful I would be able to find a deal on these brand new, popular shoes. However, Lysander's post caught my eye, and although it wasn't directly mentioned in his post, I thought I would double-check to see if Running Warehouse stocked the Kayano 28s. They do!

    REEEEE AGAINST THE RULES REEEEEE

  • Great price for a new release, shame about the colour

    • Agreed, not a huge fan of this colour, but I don't think they've released any other colours in Australia yet as far I can tell…

Just so you know, that SUNSUPER15 code works all day every say so RRP is listed price less 15% in my opinion.

  • The picture at the top of the link does look quite dull - almost looks like one of those '3D Print Your Own Running Shoes' type things.

The one in the video down the page, looks better, and different colour scheme (red & black).

Just a heads up, if you don't need the current colourway these can be had for $130-140 everyday at dfo's

$212 for runners isn't really a bargain unfortunately

    • Agree. I've not paid more than $60 for any of my shoes and they are all good brands Adidas, Nike, North Face, Clarks Originals etc.

      • +2

Yes, but an adidas duramo isn't the same quality as an ultraboost.

Neither are a nike everyday vs epic reacts/pegasus.

On that note, saw someone today and they found super cheap shoes from rivers last week. 20 bucks a pair. I'm surprised there wasn't any posts on here

The Kayano 28s just came out recently, I would be very surprised if you can find them at DFO. However, you may have seen the Kayano 27s for that price, which is a pretty good deal imo.

@Drakesy that's what I was thinking, I remember the last time I bought Gel Kayanos it was easily for double digits.

Previously ASICS would have a seriously good sale on the week of the GC Marathon, which was again cancelled last weekend due to COVID restrictions.

Will be interesting to see what happens during the Olympics and if they have a sale on then.

you'd think that after 27 iterations that they could get the shoe right eh 🤔

  • Are the sizes "D" mentioned as Medium the standard size width on running warehouse website?

    • +1

      Yes, that’s the standard width.

      • @Rocket thanks.

  • Code expired on 30/06/21

    • Oh, that's odd, I bought my pair on the 5th of July with no problem using the promo code.

  • For those looking for these shoes, you can curently get them for $189 Delivered @ The Iconic using "EBOOK30".
