  • Anybody tried using one of the stubble combs for body hair? Have the top of the line bodygroomer but don't think the 3mm comb is good enough and would like to try 1mm or 2mm on this?

  • +2

    i have this…great trimmer/groomer
    excellent pricing OP …nice find

  • +3

I had this for close to a year and stopped working.. just an fyi

    • +3

I have had it for a year n it works really well.

    • well use your guarantee then & get it replaced

    • I got it from Amazon last year and it died in 3 months too.

  • "I previously used this, but the plastic clips on the head broke."
That is the main reason I stopped using Philips, self-destructing plastic and no support from them for spares.
Tempted to try this as its fixed combs.

    • +1

There are spare parts here, but for $30.95 delivered and potentially only another year or so use, I also figured this fixed head is better value.

      • +2

Thanks. I've taken a punt for $40. It's like a life quest though, trying to find a well designed clippers that lasts.

      • +1

just so you know its not a fixed head…its removable for cleaning but is a very solid design that is durable and can handle being taken on/off regularly
you also need to remove the head to use the foil shaver & fine trimmer attachments that are included in this kit.

ive been using mine regularly for 2 years or so….battery is still great, all heads are intact and havent broken anything yet. i reckon at $40 you scored a total bargain for a solid shaver

  • My religion restricts me from purchasing products that theoretically should be able to be charged via USB-PD, but aren't.

Does anyone know of alternative products that could accommodate me?

    • +6

What religion is that? I would like to join your church.

      • Church of Youesbeology

        • I think it's BSYouOlogy, personally

  • How does this compare to a OneBlade Pro?

    • These are more like clippers, the OneBlade Pro is more like a razor

  • +1

    Seems like it's sold out

  • Yup. SOLD OUT

  • +1

Good price on the Series 7000 trimmer. I second that the clips are flimsy. However, I decided to take it up with Philips customer support since my item was still under the 2 year warranty and they have agreed to send me a replacement product. Not a great deal of pain in the process. I connected with them using their WhatsApp channel (look at Philips Australia website on how to do this)

    • How did you get the replacement? Did you just say that the clips kept falling off or breaking?

      • I told them that the shaver head kept popping off the body. In my case the clips are not broken, but they had gone weak and so no longer gripping like they used to.

  • Great price, missed out oh well. It got down to around $45 in cart last week for prime day

  • Does anyone know where to get replacement foil shaver piece for this an Noreclo multigroom 18 in 1?

  • Have a Phillips Oneblade, great shaver but annoying too buy the blades as they are very expensive just for one new blade to buy and better off waiting for the whole Oneblade device shaver with 3 spare blades too be on sale say with Amazon Prime then just buy the one blade, annoying too were I originally bought the oneblade from Shaver shop never having sales for the blades when they have sales

Let's see if Myer has anything maybe I'll find the Oneblades blades on sale lol

    • I was a bit cringe at your grammar but at least you said Myer instead of Myers lol (maybe that’s more of a bogan mistake anyway)
How often is the pack with 3 extra blades on sale btw?

      • I think under $50 and I'm sure I've seen it twice on sale under $50 last with Amazon EOY/Prime sale, I should keep screen shots of these sales
