I remember when rivers use to have great bargains. Before they started becoming a ‘drop shipper’ type store similar to Iconic. Haven’t personally felt I’m buying at great value since. Although I understand they have to adapt or die & respect it.✊ Just being nostalgic is all.
When they're clearing out at these sort of prices I find them to be pretty good value. The shoes at least are leather when they say they're leather, and in the EOFY deals I got a few shirts for $5-10. They probably don't have the reputation they used to but they serve a purpose for no fuss clothing.
Yeah that’s true, suppose you got to know when to look. They would definitely have some good deals, but they were easier for me to find before they started selling for a bunch of brands at same prices I can already see on other clothing sites. Saved me scrolling lol.
I still shop at Rivers, it’s more just my idea of them, their products & the hole they filled for my certain go to items has shifted slightly, and that’s totally okay!

no these run big, I'm wearing a small as i type this and I'm a large in the Uniqlo Ex-Dry polo, not sure if that helps…

I’ve never bought anything from Rivers. Most of their stuff looks a bit dated IMHO
I can't recall ever being happy with a rivers purchase. Wait a few weeks, you'll find them in the op shops.

I think metropolitan Australia always feels trans-seasonal anyway, even in “winter”. I never wear puffer jackets or heavy coats.
