Sold them for 5 years at JB Carindale, trust me any store would not let a deal worth this much go, Never worked off RRP's on Tv's that's more around cars etc.
Even if JB sold this at "Cost" they still have rebates on the backend that only the store Managers see
You would be surprised at the markup on TV's, I used to get 50% off RRP for any LG product and they even said there's still profit on their end..

I called JB hifi Melrose Park SA. The lady on the phone had no idea if such type of TV exists!….searched……and couldn't even find the model on their computer.

That's correct! Only Harvey is advertising it at this price $8995 pre order. JB has it hidden in their system, staff have to approach store manager to confirm it before they can take the order. TGG is $11995 (no special from them at the moment) and they even refused to price match their two great competitors. May hold on until the model is available in stock. More likely to get them negotiaiting
Harvey is saying early July. JB told me they should land mid-July and needs 2 weeks in quarantine so end of July. I am going to cancel and get the A90J (based on the assumption that the RRP price will drop at launch as the 77" A80J dropped $2k). Sony is expected mid-August.
