Hi op, out of curiosity why did you buy this over the Xiaomi? Been waiting for a deal on the Xiaomi for a while now
Hardware unboxed review on YouTube probably helped. Plus guarantee that's easier to work with over the Xiaomi is also a part of it I would suspect
No real reason to be honest! In my head I trust gigabyte products over Xiaomi. I also have a 27" gigabyte secondary screen that's always been good to me. That's really about it.
Bought one of these a few days ago, can recommend it at this price. One thing I should mention is that the built in stand is atrocious, invest in your own monitor arm.
I paid 675 when first released. First one died within 30mins. Got a replacement but has developed flickering after 6 months or so. Might be OK at this discounted price but not full sticker

Are you covered under warranty?
It's more than half the price of the 34gn850 I bought!! And specs look similar :/
34GN850 looks to be IPS and G34WQC is VA. Don't fret they both have different use cases :)
LG is quality though
