This is a very good deal.

      This one’s PPS as well

      • -2

Not sure about 108W model but the Satechi 100W GaN model I have does have PPS, can super fast charge S20 FE (rather than just fast charge).

        • -2

The model linked here does not list it as a feature, which is a fair bet it’s absent given it’s a selling point.

          • -2

@0jay: Not really, the 100W GaN model does not list PPS as well because unlike Chinese models who usually tout these features, Satechi doesn't.

            • -2

@Bigboomboom: Ok mate whatever y reckon

              • -3

@0jay: The 108W may not feature PPS because it's older, but the 100W GaN model definitely does. Chinese makers like to tout every conceivable tech because that's their selling point. Satechi is a more premium sort of brand that are sold in Apple Store and that's their selling point rather than listing all the supporting sub standards.

                • @Bigboomboom: I’ve no issue with the GAN model. The question here pertains to the listed item. Suggesting it may be PPS is misleading anyone who may be considering this model and is therefore muddying the water for prospective buyers.

                  This is just bog gibberish

                  • @0jay: You want less gibberish version?
Chinese models are less reputable. That's why they want to sing every buzzword to sell. Or fake review, like Ravpower that got removed from Amazon. That may not mean their quality is subpar though.
Satechi, like Belkin or Hyper, are more premium. They don't need buzzword to sell. They are the sort of brands that sold in Apple Store.
And I never suggested 108W model supports PPS, just pointing out the fact that Satechi does not advertised PPS even when their model do. Reasons above.

                    • -1

@Bigboomboom: PPS is a standard. It’s either implemented or it’s not.

                      • @0jay: It's a SUB-standard of PD. It is implemented on 100W GaN charger, Satechi does not need to advertise it, why do you think they must? Or you think I lied when I said the 100W does?

It does support PPS 5A for Samsung 45W charging.

                          @Bigboomboom:

It is implemented on 100W GaN

This post is about a different model.

                          • @0jay: Yes, and you also suggested if Satechi does not advertise it, they do not support it. That is also wrong.

                            • @Bigboomboom:

you also suggested if Satechi does not advertise it, they do not support it

In this case, this item in the OP, it is correct.

                                In fact it does.
Q: Does this support pps to allow the galaxy note 10+ to charge at 25w? what about 45w?
A: Yes, it will support fast charge and can regulate the voltage for different phones. It will output at the highest allowed by the phone for superfast charging.

Thanks for choosing Satechi!! Feel free to reach back out for any inquires.

You are wrong. The 108W model does support PPS.

                    • @Bigboomboom: Ravpower got removed from Amazon? Why? What happened?

                  • @0jay: I did check the Satechi website and even the user manual and I couldn't see detail on the standards supported ie PPS. So regardless of the quality it makes the buying choice difficult. On top of this the comments on Amazon suggest problems with charging a Macbook Pro (ie 87w charger). Which is my use case. So for what its worth I picked up one of the Heymix chargers and will see how it goes.

                    • @Improv:

it makes the buying choice difficult

                      Yeah, I agree.

  • Isnt this a cheaper option although only 100w?

  • Newer Gan model 100w was only $100.99 until sold out just now

  • Just want to point out this model does support PPS charging even if Satechi does not advertise it:
