Luckily was meaning to pick up a new bottle from the supermarket. Price stacks up favourably to Coles and Woolies (both north of $4.50), and at a price point historically very well received by Ozbargain.

If you went for Habanero and like it, spoil yourself and get a Secret Aardvark Habanero bottle later. You'll love it!

      • I've never had the Tabasco Habanero (bought one from this deal to try), but do love a good Habanero sauce and have heard a few people talk about the Secret Aardvark… may have to grab a bottle to see what the fuss is.

        • Highly recommended. Note with Habanero sauces, you need a few days back to back to get used to it, then the flavour enjoyment kicks in and you want it on everything!

          • @Hybroid: What store sells it? The one on Amazon from seller ChilliBOM?

            • @Red Pandas: Yep, that's the one. 236ml for $13 with Prime delivery.

Also, for those that don't like Habanero's sharpness and prefer the plain Tabasco, spoil yourself with Valentina which is on offer too (similar to spicy sauce GYG put on):

@Red Pandas: Buy from chillibom's website. They're a lovely crew, no need to get Amazon involved

              • @modded: Free Prime Shipping is the big winner unfortunately.

If I'm in the South West, I'll swing by their store though- definitely looks like a place I could spend a while

@blighst: lol damn, i thought u meant they were in southwest of WA. NSW is a little far for me, amazon it is then :)

              • @modded: It's free one day delivery on Amazon for me, have to pay for shipping on Chillibom's website it seems and who knows how long it will take…

        • Take a look at the amount of sugar before

          • @Laziofogna: Low fat is good, besides you don't need much

        • I didn't enjoy the habanero at all, has nice heat to it. But they spoiled it by adding fruit flavours.

          • @Bretttick: Consider that fresh orange habanero chilies have an apricot-y flavour, not just heat though

            • @Laziofogna: I understand that, but I'm pretty sure on the ingredients listed on the back of the bottle, they added mango and banana puree. Mango I don't mind but banana šŸ¤®šŸ¤®

@Bretttick: I agree with you. I ordered just Chipotle and Classic Red

                • @Laziofogna: According to the post i don't think your mate has even tried it?
                  very similar anyway

                  • @G-rig: You mean the Habanero variety? No, I have seen 20% sugar and passed over.

                    • @Laziofogna: oh yeah, didn't look at that, how many calories per gram? How much is fat?

                    • @Laziofogna: oh yeah, didn't look at that, how many calories per gram? How much is fat?

                    • @Laziofogna: oh yeah, didn't look at that, how many calories per gram? How much is fat?

                    • @Laziofogna: oh yeah, didn't look at that, how many calories per gram? How much is fat?

                      • @G-rig: I wasn't worried about the calories, just of the fact is probably not that hot and a bit sweet

                        • +1

                          @Laziofogna: sweet as mate

Agree, i probably should have got the original as well, double post too.

Anyway if you want hot get a hot sauce, these are nice for the sweet/smokie ness

      • I like the habanero flavour and orig, hmm

        Is that this one?

Culley's no 10 is great if you want a bit more kick
Oh, on sale too, $8.70. already got a new bottle but may get that, Tabasco doesn't really last long, but cheap enough. Blair's ultra death sauce is too much lol

  • What do you put tabasco on? I remember trying it once and it tasted very vinegary…

    • Everything and anything. Personally I find it works best with tomato based items. Today I put it in a tomato based soup which was great - Indeed a vinegary taste which is to be expected from a vinegar based sauce.

      Pizza, scramble, tomato based pasta:)

    • Bean salads

    • Pizza, 2 min noodles, rice, pasta, tomato soup.

      I've even used a bit in bloody Mary's šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  • Wow just spotted Amazon has 1.89L bottles of the original really cheap at $3.52/L after S&S. I put the original on nearly everything savory, from toast to spag bol, so this will save me some coin.

Grabbed one each of the others to experiment.

    • $66

    • Been there. Done that. Habanero one lost the taste and kick while being in the fridge. We consume approx 1 small bottle a week - took us about a while to finish that 1.89 l bottle.

Also, not that I cared, but the expiry on the 1.89 l bottle was really short.

And yes, i bought it for like $45.

      • Yeah fair enough, 1.89L is a lot to get through lol

  • Original red is $5.50 so how's this a deal?

    • The deal price was active a few hours ago. Original Red may have sold out? I see the other flavours are showing the deal price.

  • Love the Chipotle one on burritos, nachos etc. Might get some of the green one

  • Original Red sold out :(

  • Habanero is good, not really that much difference

  • Grabbed a few, cheers OP!

  • damm,, Habanero is out of stock..
