Hi All,
I had my first dose of vaccine on Monday. All went well apart from sore arm for next 24 hrs. Today I received call from vaccination centre that there was a positive case in the waiting area around same time as me. The exposure period I was told is 7am to 8am and I enrtered waiting area at around 7:57am (my vaccine was done at 7:55am and adding a couple of mins for me to put the jacket on/ask questions and walk to waiting area). I don't have any symptoms.
I am a bit anxious since I have received call. As soon as I received call today, I got myself test and awaiting results. I am yet to receive call from DHSS for further instructions.I have a wife and 2 kids at home and I trying my best to keep disatance. Should I be worried? What should/can I do to stay motivated/positive to see through this period? As yet I don't know whenther I need to isolate for 14 days or until I get negative test result. If I don't receive a call from DHSS does it mean there is nothing worry?
Thanks,
Sean.
Update - my test results have come "Negative" .
Is it a tier 1 or tier 2 exposure site?
Either way, if you can isolate yourself to one room until you get your results that would be good. And try and keep windows open as much as you can during the day (or at night if you like the cold) to improve ventilation =)
