    I bought one of these, and I broke a few horizontal wooden bars at the base below the mattress. Just wondering if anyone has insights on replacing that, or have to replace the whole bed?

      are you talking about the slats? if so, just measure them and go to bunnings. more than likely just made of regular pine. probably 5-10 bucks to replace.

        If they referring to the slats then the dimensions are 7.5cm X 1.25 cm replacements (by however wide depending on whether it was Queen, double, etc).

        Alternatively, replace them all with thicker ones so they don't break. Can probably just pick some up at IKEA then.

          deffo replace them all if they are breaking easily - but don't both with ikea. Just get some wood from bunnings that is the right width but a bit thicker, then get them to cut them to the length required. They will even cut it for you.

    Would the Queen gas lift suit the Queen Euro Top Pocket Spring Foam Mattress? I got one from Ebay recently, just wondering about the weight limit between the mattress, me and my partner.

      This Gas Lift Bed will suit the Queen Euro Top Pocket Spring Foam Mattress without any problem, the weight limit for this bed frame is up to 317kg including mattress weight.

      Also to put it here for anyone seeking for this information, our Gas Lift Bed can accommodate any mattresses thickness up to 33cm thick.

    Purchased a cloth bed frame a few weeks back via Amazon and was extremely impressed. Assembling was super easy and it even came with a little ratchet.

      Thanks for reaching out, the assembly process is going to be easier than any other gas lift bed on the market, as we have numbering system in place for every products that requires assembly process at Zinus, you just have to match the number on each side and we include all the tools that's needed to assemble the product in as well.

    Are there recommended mattress thicknesses or a maximum mattress thickness?

    could you clarify the clearance under frame of 25.4
    in your listings it appears that everything is stacked up to the side of the frame. the base height is listed at 31cm so is the maximum object height under the bed 25.4cm or 31cm?

      Great timing for this question as I have just got a reply from our product design team about this.

      For the mattress thickness, any mattresses that's up to 33cm thick will fit perfectly fine for this bed frame.

      As for the maximum object height, on an overall storage space we do recommend only up to 25.4cm clearance, reason for that being some spaces do only accommodate up to 25.4cm height as there're parts like the centre beam where we have less clearance compared to spaces that's right underneath the slats etc.

    Urgent Question to the Zenius team: queen size bed frame is 152.4cm in width which is shorter than a normal queen size mattress (153cm) - could you please verify the above as it seems odd to have a narrower bed frame than the mattress? Thanks. Hugo.
