Oral-B Pro 1500 Electric Toothbrush $65 (Half Price) at Woolworths

390

Just spotted Woolworths selling Oral-B Pro 1500 Toothbrushes in their store, and currently at %50 off, now $65. Uses lithium batteries, and I believe the same fast motor as the other 1000+ series toothbrushes.

  • I bought this last time (last month?)
Couldn't find any differences from my Pro 2500

  • This is a good deal, woolworths has also given a $10 off $50 spend barcode, making this $55, if it works, which it should.

Also other models are half price like https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/83607/oral… which is normally $100, now $50, or $40 with the barcode, this makes it a very nice deal.

Except that one is inferior. For a bit more, you get a lithium ion battery.

Any link to the barcode offer?

      • The barcode is only valid at Marrickville, Mascot and Alexandria due to the new Marrickville Metro Coles. Should i still post the barcode deal? It was sent to households in the area.

        • The barcode worked. $55

          I will post barcode.

Our you can get a better version at shaver shop.. Has lithium battery and with $10 sign up offer, it comes out to $69 https://www.shavershop.com.au/oral-b/pro-3000-electric-tooth…

    • The 3000. This is looking similar to the Bates computers and all the better versions https://youtu.be/_2yjjHzifL8

    • This one is using li-on battery as well

    • I was racking my brain over the differences between these two last night - couldnt find any. So i bought the 1500 from woolies this morning.

  • I bought two no long ago and they do have Lithium. There is no difference between 1500 and the 2000 series as far as I can see.

What’s the difference between Pro and Pro 2? Are you comparing Pro 1500 with Pro 2 2000?

I found it very difficult to understand Braun product differences, they really should publish detailed product specifications like car manufacturers do. :)

      • Not sure about pro and pro 2 , but his pro 1500 has the same details as pro 2 2000:
        2 speeds
        Pressure indicator
        Travel case
        Lithium

        • Does the 1500 have the quadpacer too?

          • +1
          • @winterr: can you explain what a quadpacer is and it's purpose?

            • +1

@bobvegas: The quadpacer is part of the 2 minute timer. You divide your mouth into 4 sections and use the quadpacer to tell you when to move onto the next section of your mouth. If you're brushing too fast/slow the quadpacer should help you adjust your speed

Ha. Almost 350 clicks and only 20 up votes. OzBargainers are a rough crowd. No worries, I gave you one.

  • Saw the Pro 3000 for $99 at chemist warehouse yesterday.

      Its $69 at shaver shop

Good find @ $79 but the $10 new user code doesn't work with it.

        https://www.shavershop.com.au/oral-b/pro-3000-electric-tooth…

        • The code worked here.

          • +1

@Click_It: Mine said: "Coupon Number: WELCOME-****-****-** Not Applied"

            • @xuqi: Did you create a new account?

              • +1

@Click_It: Yes, I've never had an account with them before, and the code was obtained from the; 'Welcome, thanks for joining' email.

                At checkout, the system show:

Coupon code "WELCOME-****-****-**" cannot currently be added to your cart.remove

They may have noticed excluded teh code's use from sale items.

Eded up buying teh 7000 with free express delivery for $99.

                https://www.shavershop.com.au/oral-b/smart-7-7000-electric-t…

Same here, It says that the code cannot be applied

        • Code doesn't work for me either.

          "SIGN-UP TO RECEIVE $10 OFF*
*on your first online order with $50 minimum spend."
          however…
          "Coupon Number: ****** Not Applied"

Frustrating, as nothing anywhere on the home screen mentions that the $10 can't be used for sale items.T&C (which isn't provided until after sign-up) states "Not in conjunction with any other offer or coupon code" but nowhere does it mention that these particular toothbrushes are any particularly special 'other offer' and nearly everything on the site says % OFF suggesting it's some type of special. Toothbrush refills are specifically excluded, but not the brushes.

So sick of these garbage bait and switch scams. If they don't want to offer $10 upon sign-up, don't offer it.
