For anyone considering buying, ADATA have changed the parts on this model multiple times without publicizing it, so previous performance data may be misleading.

Absolutely, the first gen was really good. I got the 1TB first release version, done 200TB of writes recently, still on 100% health. Its a beast of a drive.

The switcheroo shenanigans of this company now have put me off. Buyer beware.

  • long time no Samsung EVO 970 deal.

this was good but I missed it https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/611187

    • why not move on to 980?

Would love to but even 970 is too much as my Mac has only PCIe v2. You need PCIe v4 to be able to get full benefit of it.
