yes, really wish this allowed over $2000 as I really want the 65" or a 55" C1
I have been looking for 65 C1 as well, this is probably the lowest ($3770) online - https://biturl.top/iI7NJf
Price match w HN, haggle & use 8% off GC, if you can grab those.
Where are these fabled GC?
@WetWaffle: suncorp benefits!
Yeah, only two HDMI 2.1 ports on the back though. The other ports are regular HDMI 2.0.
2000 limits sucks. 65 is all the way to go.
Yea 55" is tiny!
Bought this in the last Good Guys ebay deal for $1795. Does anyone know if there is a way to get the difference back from either GG or Ebay?
Only if you have bought it instore or online and added the Concierge Service. Unfortunately it excludes eBay.
Details: https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/30-day-price-guarantee
Even better
For postage select CC, then hit Afterpay, then select postage.
Worked for me.
Great tip!
Excellent price!
B7 still going strong otherwise I would have pounced.
Damn! Bought the x90h 65 for $100 more a month or two ago. Very good telly and obviously bigger, but OLED :(
X9000h is a great tv. Only difference is the blacks. If it’s in a bright room you made a great choice.
I’ve actually gone from hisense OLED to the x9000h and I like it more.
But TBH the Hisense OLED's were pretty average at best.
Real pity, because they could've offered a decent budget OLED and their internals let it down, screen was really good though.
Thanks, I'm terrible with buyers remorse on big purchases. But it is a really good TV, I came from a Hisense N7 55 and the difference is night and day. Brilliant for gaming.
Didn't stop me trying to convince my partner that we needed to upgrade the living room TV to OLED though ;)
couldnt help it…i pulled the trigger after much internal debate
Too small bro. Minimum 65 inch
using it for my pc in my bedroom, pixel density is more important. 55 is ample for my use
I thought strangers on the internet are in a better position to decide what's ample for your use. /s
@OzBrogains: I don't know what everyone's obsession with 65" TV's are lately? Have their bedrooms expanded or am I the only pleb not living in a mansion? For the loungeroom I can understand but it would look ridiculous in an average sized bedroom. I tried it and went back to 55" very quickly. It stood out like a sore thumb. People need to think about where the TV is going before commenting. Genius username by the way LOL.
@[Deactivated]: Amen, brother/sister!
@[Deactivated]: I don't get what's the go with 65 inch either?
When viewing 1080p on a 55inch, you need to be at least 2 metres away to see a difference. With good eyesight. with a 65 that's 2.5 metres.
When viewing 4k, which is kind of the point of buying an ultra high end, OLED based tv, that distance is further.

As a comparison for those upgrading from an older TV, a 55 inch is still a very good upgrade too:
http://www.displaywars.com/42-inch-16x9-vs-55-inch-16x9
As a side note, I've seen a room with a 75 inch setup and couches ~2 metres away. Besides your eyes being sore from such a huge screen on that extreme, the TV lights the entire room by itself.
When viewing 4k, which is kind of the point of buying an ultra high end, OLED based tv, that distance is further.
Actually you’d want to be sitting closer for 4k, not further back. So for a 55 inch 4k TV, you should sit closer than a 65 inch.
Is that what your partner says?
Michaelz101 What are you, a porn queen??!!
So i just have to create an afterpay account to get this deal, and pay using afterpay? Can I pay it all in one hit?
Would appreciate an answer to this also.
It usually takes awhile to increase your after pay limit with good conduct so it may complicate answering your question. ie yes you could use the deal but not sure if you would have appropriate limit for your purchase.
ok i just signed up and it says my current limit is $600. Does this prevent me from being able to take advantage of this deal?
Yes, given the item costs more than $600.
you can pay off everything in one shot. There is also usually quite a small maximum 'borrow' limit so you will pay a good portion of it anyway immediately.
Obsolete in a year when it wont run the VESA owned, HDMI 2.1 spec level of input (48Gbps). This runs a lower spec processor that failed HDMI 2.1 compliance…so LG chose to not comply, but instead to rename all B-series input ability as HDMI 2.1 "Class", which is not a thing, just a name as valid as "NOPE 2.1" for what it's referring to - 8Gbps slower spec than HDMI 2.1, but with all the branding you need to still buy it as an HDMI 2.1 TV.
I'm in the 7' tall "Class" at 6'1". I'm not incorrect in saying this, but I'm sneaky AF if I'm taking your money when I do.
You will require full 48Gbps bandwidth very soon as media catches up to player spec…or trust LG, they wouldn't lie to thier customers, for the last 2 years, rather than sell you an HDMI 2.1 labelled TV, without HDMI 2.1 ports…pretty close though, LG's HDMI 2.1 Class name I mean, not the spec…that's way off. LG state on their website that you just don't need more than 40Gbps to make use of HDMI 2.1 features. "HDMI 2.1 Features" was of course LG's first cut down, compliance missing name for HDMI 2.1 before changing it to it's current HDMI 2.1 Class. Wordplay is way cheaper than changing a processor for compliance. Plus you won't even know until next year your B-series is obsolete when it just won't play whatever the format is that will then require 48Gbps, the full HDMI 2.1 standard's worth. Maybe 2 years…I'm not sure as I can't tell the future, but LG can, you're hoping.
Does this also apply to the CX?
It appears so…but not the C9.
You would be best to check the processor, available on LG's website does 48Gbps or that the model of LG does HDMI 2.1…not HDMI 2.1 Class or HDMI 2.1*, etc.

I have this connected to the RTX card in 4k@120 4:4:4 mode without issues. TV also shows RGB 10b 4L12 (=48) at 4k@120 + VRR. Maybe you're talking about other manufacturers that use mediatek chips that can't go past 4k@120 4:2:2?
That's a lot of numbers that I'll take your word for…if you take mine that you'll need 48Gbps/HDMI 2.1 processing in the very near future, not 40Gbps/"HDMI 2.1 Class".
A 4K120HDR signal is just over 40.1Gbps. So you should be right, or just OK.
Or not actually.
When your RTX20XX outputs a signal between 40.1 & 48Gbps, what happens? I'm guessing your B-series VRR's your 120fps down. No issue present, just losing frames your PC probably can't process anyway. Not many can. Next year though…
As long as you are confident you don't need a 48Gbps/HDMI 2.1 display, then you're not relying on LG deciding for you.
Some good additional info here at rtings. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/bx-oled Not sure of the real benefits of 12 bit colour it also looks like this is the same for the CX so doesn't appear to be major.
The LG BX only has 40Gbps ports capable of 4k @ 120Hz @ 4:4:4 10-bit instead of 48Gbps ports, which would be able to reach 12-bit, but we don't expect this to make any noticeable difference.
Dolby Vision requires 12-bit colour processing. Not really my point here though as the OLED panel on this TV is 10-bit.
Rtings initially misled consumers with thier first review of the B9, making statements they could not verify, such as 4K@120 out of the box and VRR support.
Of course there being no HDMI 2.1 sources availble to test with at that point, Rtings were simply relaying LG's information.
I liked Rtings. They're still being very kind to LG however.
What they're actually saying in the quote you provided is not a good thing IMO, "The CX also has the same 40Gbps, non-HDMI 2.1 spec chip as the B-series & neither have a 12-bit panel anyway".
This is a big let down if true. And a class action waiting to happen. You can’t wordplay with a standard. HDMI 2.1 class implies a standard of hdmi 2.1. I’m a regular person with normal tech knowledge so if it looks normal to me it would definitely appear to a normal joe blow who doesn’t not his wifi from his hifi.
Agreed. LG are taking the piss out of their customer's knowledge gap. Knowledge that most of us rely on a brand to provide in a straight up manner.
If they don't, they're potentially damaging thier brand into becoming untrustable. They must have bought a lot of cheap chips to be risky with thier name like this.
Shame, not showing any stock in stores nearby. Even though i just visited and they had some there on display
Does not stack with the PPSS100 discount code but can you use gift card for part of the payment (obviously cannot use for 100%) and get an extra 5%?
Great post! I’m trying to make a purchase for this but on After checkout I get “Sorry, your order amount is too high.
You can spend up to: $1,500.00 AUD”. I’ve had an afterpay account since ‘17 and have made 5-6 purchases in that time (without a missed payment). Anyone else have the same experience ?
Otherwise buy a $200 voucher and $1500 on Afterpay?…Haven’t tried it myself though and not sure if the voucher will still be valid.
If you only have a $600 credit limit with Afterpay, then you can pay some balance with gift cards to get below $600 for the Afterpay portion.
Celebration Swap cards can be purchased through the Shopback Mobile App with a 3% cashback on $500 cards or 4% on $250 cards. However I think Ebay has a limit on the number of gift cards that can be used - I think it is 5.
Using this method the cashback on the gift cards more than covers the delivery fee at least.
It is a lot of rigmarole but then again we are all Ozbargainers!
So I buy say 3 $500 vouchers on shopback, then pay the rest on afterpay?
And paying the balance with my own cash instead of vouchers isn’t possible?
Max is 7 I think.
Ahh gotcha! Had issues checking out the $500 gc on shopback but the $250 worked just fine :) Cheers for the run down!
Thanks purchased with new Afterpay account payed most upfront which i prefer. Good deal!
Pulled the trigger even though the 10 year old 42" Soniq is still going strong. Turns out if you tell your wife you're buying a new TV every day for 3 months, she relents.
hahah this sounds familiar too me.
Does anyone know of any deals on a 65 inch variant of an LG OLED? CX preferred but I really want to go up a size with the new purchase so happy with any LG OLED model at this point
I'm not familiar with this shopback voucher process, but I just tried to buy using cash to pay the balance, and it said unsuccessful.
On shopback, i don't see any $250 vouchers, only $500. Should I just buy 3 of those then hope afterpay works for this? I hope this deal doesn't expire tomorrow!
Any Victorians have luck with this one today? Looking like it's all sold out for C&C thus cancelling out the deal…
Anyone know of any delivery services that would handle it for a reasonable cost? I'm disabled and can't drive, and this $1,695 price only applies if you don't get the delivery (delivery pushes the total over $2k). Thanks!
Hey,
add the item to your cart and then select store and put in postcode 2000 and select the one store that seems to have stock left. Afterpay should be selectable now and you can enter the Afterpay code then select delivery.
MT.
Awesome, did the trick!
Cool, no probs.
Still umming ang ahhing myself :)
MT.
They confirmed delivery for today…I just got a call from them saying they dont have stock….
fmd. been looking forward to this all week.
Does this have the 120hz VRR?
