  That is a good deal. Having that paired with a 11400/f would be a good cheap starter build.

  Not sure anything else makes a lot of sense in the current market. AMD has the 5600x and B550 combination for about $530 at the moment. So you'd need an Intel combination to be cheaper than that. That to me rules out the 11500 and 11600/f unless you just prefer Intel for whatever reason.
